Here's my recipe for CAS Mix Up November:
- embossing folder [I've used two]
- die cutting
- ink stamping, swiping + heat embossing
You'll see that I've embossed the green cardstock, created my 'wreath' with two Scalloped circle dies, then embossed it with my favorite winter embossing folder from Richard Garay - pine needles. I then swiped a white pigment ink pad over the raised surfaces, and randomly dipped it in white embossing powder; heating between dips. That gorgeous bow is from Altenew. How about a closer look:
My inside sentiment is an older MFT... still gorgeous to me. My panel has been embossed with my new folder - from Stampin Up … I'm sure you have a representative close to you.

Wow my friend ~ this is stunning!!! I love the frosted look on the wreath, as though it's been tipped in snow. The bow is perfect for this lovely wreath too.

Very creative to use the scalloped circle dies and then add the pine needle dry emboss and then heat emboss on top. The wreath is very artsy and beautiful! The bow is the perfect finishing touch! ReplyDeletebeautiful card sweetie, I love embossing folders though I keep forgetting to use these days. Used my first the other day I reckon in 6 months, thats shocking when you look at how much they add character to our cards.
