Stay Salty

I've had a certain Essentials by Ellen set on my wish-list at Ellen Hutson, LLC for far too long … I couldn't resist playing the entire day with it!  Here's the one - Stay Salty:

and it has coordinating dies … and there's one die that could be the reason I finally hit the buy button - take a look:

Have you figured it out yet?  Yep, it's the wave!!  okay... it might be the snarky sentiments - that Julie just slays me.  every.  time.

Oh, btw, I have three MORE to share soon - old mashes up with new very nicely - can you guess which one I'll choose?

Hope you have zero clouds, smooth waters, and stay clear of chip-snatching-sea gulls … happy weekend, everybody!

  4. Oh a life on the ocean waves, tra la la la la la la la ... I know it's Lake Michigan waves, but that doesn't have the same ring to it somehow! Such delicious cards, Michele ... you've made bobbing about on the lake (by sailboat or by bouy) into fun art, my friend ... a delightfully cute trio! Bon weekend à toi, aussi! Hugs, Anita :)

  6. Awesome! That's what these are. Love the snarky sentiments and the fun cards. Some of those waves look like seagulls flying upside down. At least that is the first thing I thought of. I thought you were being extra clever at first and getting more mileage out of the die. Except, when I look closer one of those seagulls would look like a mutation with an extra wing or something. Nevermind, then. ;) Still, the cards are awesome!!

  7. I could visualize you playing with those awesome waves all day long, so I guessed correctly right away :) Really cute cards, Michele! The elements are so fun in this set and I love the punny sentiments! Once again, you've showcased the new goodies perfectly, my friend...Really great nautical cards!

  8. How did this stamp/die slip my notice...I'm normally more alert. You're right, that die is the B-O-M-B (yes, I know that term is obsolete). What's terrific about it is the way you find to use it. Man alive, what a bevy of fun in the sun these cards are.
