Julie Ebersole recently made this card on our EH YouTube channel, and it got my creative juices going... I'm sure you have had the same reaction to her brilliance, right?
My cards started with the word YAY from the Yay set of dies released in October of 2017... I cut it three times, then set about coloring them, as Julie did in her video, with her fabulous Plaid Builder set, and three Catherine Pooler dye inks: Shea Butter, Lime Rickey, and Fiesta Blue.
Are you ready? ta DA!
A simple swath of water-down ink, and a scattering of confetti!
Heat embossed Plaid Builder onto vellum, with a
sprinkling of PPP sequins!
I was never a cheerleader, but can you hear: give me a YAY!
The hint of balloons, and confetti - a few glossy accents, too!
Now, if you are familiar with the YAY set, you may be wondering what happened to the exclamation points?
kite-tails - that's where they went!
A simple embossing folder gave my balloon bottom from Yay some texture without disturbing that CAS look, and
Here are all of the inside sentiments I was able to create with Totally Random Sayings Vol. II
Mondo Sakura: sentiments only
Classic Block Alpha dies: all alpha cuts
and another awesome favorite
Abstract Paint Strokes: confetti, and paint strokes
Thanks @jaebersole for always inspiring a fabulous day of playing cards! and hugs and thanks to all of you for stopping by today!
