Today, I'm concentrating on the lovely dies that Alma has designed for this March Release. AND I've come up with a clever way to use one of them... more on that in a bit.
First up: a Trio of Butterflies, on the gorgeous Oval Scroll Duo! I was inspired to create a card base that mimics the arch of the Oval ... then I die cut these gorgeous butterflies out of a trio of Spring-y colors, they should bring cheer to anyone who is feeling a bit under the weather...
Who among us hasn't needed a more masculine card on occasion? I used this very handsome Spring Tag Duo to create just such a card ... you won't believe your luck when you discover this darling little bird that is included - you just have to watch for him!
Okay... last but not least! It's time for me to remind you that we have our TCP Tuesday Challenge going on now! I used that Spring Tag Duo's base to create this little teacup... so easy to do with a bit of careful cutting using the die as a guide, and a sharp exacto knife! I used our Luggage Tags, and a bit of partial cutting, to create this little tea bag tag!
My words inside:
"... for two is always better!
Let's see if we can brew up a plan, soon!"
OH before I go... what do you say? are you in it, to win it? A random pick from comments on our Sneak Peek posts, or IG could win you a fabulous prize!!!
Well, my work is done ... like one can call it work! I hope we've caused a little shopping list ... here are the four new products I've used today ... there are two others that I've had loads of fun with. See you again soon ... like tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteGreat cards! The butterfly one is lovely-- love the colors!
ReplyDeleteFabulous trio of delight, Michele. I am partial to the lovely butterflies, but the masculine card is elegant and the coloring on the teacups in the final card is fantastic. Wow! That's what you do, Michele, wow! Have a great day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! I love how crisp and clean they look.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat for the eyes today~ Three amazing projects in one fabulous post! The spring butterflies are so soft and pretty and that card will certainly bring a smile to someone's heart. Your masculine card is so handsome and perfect in those colors. The tiny little bird is pure delight! Can't forget that darling little rascal in the stacked up tea cups. He's just as cute as can be and your coloring is amazing! Oh Michele, I so wish we lived closer so maybe your creative genius would rub off on me. ;0)
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! Love your mug-shaped one, especially!
ReplyDeleteAs always, cards filled with loveliness and creativity Michele.
ReplyDeleteWow your coloring is on point!!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteDCQ strikes again!! These are all so creative, Michele. The oval get well sentiment with the lacy oval on a shaped card is so lovely and the embossed rectangle around the garden gate adds great detail. That big eared bunny in a tea cup, and on a tea cup, just blew my mind.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big tea drinker so I really like your adorable and creative tea card. The inside sentiment is perfect and sweet.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous trio, Michele ... elegant, serene and lovely butterflies ... cool and stylish garden gate with those sweet birds ... and big eared bunny, in his stack of beautifully coloured teacups, is simply adorable! Tea for two please! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAll such wonderful inspiration Michele, loving those butterflies!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness your cards couldnèt be any more sweet Michele! xo
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Michele...I just kept scrolling while the goodness kept coming! Gorgeous designing!
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! I LOVE all of your lovely cards!! The little bunny you colored in with the pencils is so sweet but I LOVE the butterfly card!!
ReplyDeleteWow, MIchele gorgeous stuff. I love the intricate cuts...but that bunny still steals my heart.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your teacup and the fun little tag! Bunny is always a favorite and he's adorable perched in that cup. Your pencil coloring looks awesome too. The gate makes a great masculine card. I'm really loving that die! And your pastel butterflies just scream Spring!
ReplyDeleteThese are all just gorgeous! I love how you've the solid colors in all of them, they have their own charm, don't they, they look spectacular! Especially loved the second card with the birds on it. The die is spectacular in itself, but somehow, the dark cardstock also makes a wonderful impression! Love them all!!
ReplyDeletehugs, Ashwini
Gorgeous cards, as always!!! Simple and yet detailed #goals. Are your butterflies cut out of colored card or did you color white card? The colors are gorgeous against their gray backdrop. And the dark gray with wood veneer paper....perfection. I agree it makes a wonderful masculine card. Of course Mr. Bunny (he is a mister in my head) is always precious! love the pencil on gray and your card handle!!!! Michele, you rock!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous showcase of the new stamps and dies, Michele! I love how you added the butterflies to the Oval Scroll Duo and your color palette on the Spring Tag Duo is perfect for a guy...not to mention those stunning birds! My fave is your teacup...beautiful coloring with your pencils and your fussy cutting is just perfect! Thanks so much for sharing the pencils you chose for the images...it's really helpful!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see a butterfly, I think of you and Tom! This is such a pretty card Michele and what fun dies. The second with the sweet little birds is wonderful. And your bunny snuggled into the stacks cups is as cute as can be. Terrific job with the coloring. You've inspired me to get my colored pencils out again!
ReplyDeleteAll three cards look completely different and yet all fabulous, Michelle! You showcased the new products so well. I love the delicate butterfly dies and oval dies. Your color choice makes the card look perfect for the occasion (get well). The little bird masculine card is wonderful too. Your coloring makes the birds alive. The frame impression is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThe third one - the pretty pencil coloring, the creative tea bag, and the whole card is a tea cup! Amazing! Hideko xx
Gorgeous work as always, Michele.
ReplyDeleteYou’ve nailed it again. X
