If you don't follow Instagram, you may not have seen [or heard my squeal of joy] my first attempt at coloring the glorious Gerberas from Uniko! Here is where one of those darling blooms was 'planted' - at FMS320! Kim, thanks for allowing 'any shape!'
All of the outline stamps from the set were stamped in Versamark onto a gorgeous gray toned paper from Strathmore, and heat embossed in white. Then my inner-Yanna took over ... Prisma-coloring, baby!
After sharing this on IG, I had so many friends give me kudos for this design ... that little hole? a bit of serendipity if you ask me ... it was already cut out of the snippet of Neenah I used to stamp my sentiment [from E.H.'s Baker Lady].
I cannot wait to show my next daisy ... but you'll have to wait until next week! Please come back?

ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous, Michele! I love the coloring and all the glorious white space and the little hole!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what Prisma's you have? Thinking about getting some.
You are absolutely amazing, Michele. Gorgeous card. Wonderful coloring and serendipitous to boot. Come back? Of course! Have a wonderful, amazing, creative day! :)
ReplyDeleteOh Michele, you're so darn clever! I would have cut that circle off and kicked myself after seeing how you embraced using it. Your sparkly daisy is pure perfection and just lovely in it's little circle enclosure. You blow my mind with your cleverness Michele! Gaaaa... when can we finally meet so maybe your creativity will rub off on me??
ReplyDeleteGlorious daisy Prisma-coloring, Yanna, no Michele! (ha ha ha~)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the flower looks so vibrant and beautiful, outlined in white! I also love that you tucked the flower into the cut-out circle! Hideko :-)
This is STUNNING!!!!!! My Prisma coloring does not look like this!!
ReplyDeleteThe coloring came out so rich and vibrant, Michele, especially for being on gray paper. (Now where did I put the sheets you gave me?) The Gerbera reminds me of my granddaughter's wedding. That was her flower only a little more coral-y.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on your bloom, Michele! The shades of pink that you chose for the petals are so striking, and I love how you used your panel from a previous project! You knocked it outta the park with this beauty, my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so beautiful! Gorgeous, gorgeous flower and the layout using that spare panel is just too clever!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I would have squealed with this result too! Absolute perfection in coloring. And, again I agree, the crowd on IG is right..the little circle is a fabulous touch. So glad you joined us this week at FMS!
