Two Cards, Two Challenges!

I actually found a little time to just 'play cards' over the weekend... two challenges were calling my name:

Inspired by All the Little Things #73 featuring my Sister from another Michigan Mister - who could resist?

A favorite set from Christmas 2016 was perfect for it... see if you agree:

Wplus9 Holiday Houses, DOX water-coloring; Stickles;
and Nuvo Glimmer Paste over a stencil from GinaMarie Designs

Trying to photograph this gorgeous Glimmer Paste is trying my patience!  Try this:

Moving on... The Card Concept also had an inspirational photo, with a gorgeous Vintage Bauble Wreath...

here's my version:

Lil' Inkers: Vintage Wreath; Copic colored; and a wood-grain panel from Cat!

I have to tell you that I've had so much fun playing with this wreath on Instagram with Tracy Hawkins... just what the doctor ordered for a dark day in the craft room... must run over to see if she made her card!

BTW you all brighten any day for me - thanks!

  1. Gorgeous cards, Michele! I love all the sparkle from the Glimmer Paste...it works perfectly with your winter wonderland! I also love how you used the vintage color palette on your 2nd card! So subtle and lovely, and your woodgrain background is so striking! Looks like you've nailed it on both challenges, as always!
