The Flower Challenge #13

The number 13 has long been a significant one in my life ... this time I hope it works its magic for the WIN!!

The Flower Challenge is celebrating its 1st birthday with its 13th challenge - woo HOO!!  I do love this fabulous group of talented card makers - how could I not play along?

Tom and I were married on the 13th.  It is unbelievable to me how close we are to our 25th!  In honor of my wedding flower I give you my favorite bloom: the lovely Tulip!  Though I carried white, they're so pretty in pink!

Congratulations to The Flower Challenge on their very 1st Birthday!

Supplies:  Wplus9 + SSS Humble and Kind set; Pale Rose Bazzill paper from E.H.  Copic coloring [on Bristol paper - who knew?]

  3. This is so pretty, Michele! I love that you placed the tulips upside down, and put the sentiment (you) in a banner. These elements add a visual "punch" to the card and make the soft & elegant card look dynamic! Hideko
p.s. Good luck with the prize from The Ton. :-)

  7. What a lovely card, Michele. Those tulips are so pretty in pink and I also really like the soft pink cardstock you used. The sentiment is lovely (and I adore the song by Tim McGraw that uses that lyric). There's a little bit of texture on the leaves and flower petals. So subtle but lovely! Hugs! :)

  18. How did you do such tiny dots of white??? Those details really make the floral image sing, your so clever!! Such amazing colouring and love how the cardstock is a slightly paler version of the flowers too.
