October Guest Designer for Color Throwdown

I'm super excited to have been invited to be your Color Throwdown Guest Designer for the month of October ... who could say no to that?  Broni made it impossible... thanks, Broni, for this darling inspiration!

Take a peek at ctd#463:

Now anyone would dive into their stash and come up with a fox, right?  Make ME the exception!  I'm giving you a bloom!

I've been hoarding this patterned paper for years ... couldn't resist giving it a wee bit more texture.  I adore orange, and orange roses - when they're available.

So... will you be searching for the fox?  I'll be watching!
But let's hop over to see what the CTD team has created first:

Amy Rohl
Amy Rysavy
Barbara Anders
Broni Holcombe our hostess this week!
Jodi Collins
Lisa Henke
Lori Tecler
Lynn Put
Vickie Zimmer

Thanks for stopping in today...

  3. Congratulations on the guest designer spot! How fun for you! And well deserved! You knocked this way out of the park, Michele. This is a fantastic card. I adore the pattern paper with the textured coverup die cut on top. Wowza! And the oranges in the rose, stunning! The leafy layers under the rose sure help it pop. And the sentiment is spot on perfect. I also really like the bit of sparkle you added with teh sequins. I just love how you put a card together. Hugs!
