We spent the day sharing our stash - all our new goodies, and even some old that one or the other doesn't own. It's a great way to shop without spending a dime!
I traveled with a few challenges in mind... first up: Time Out #93 who is asking us to use Pink or a Friendship theme, and to bring attention to October as month-long Breast Cancer Awareness. CASual Fridays is their sponsor... here is the card that I made using Bobby's stash:
CAS-ual Friday's Casual Comfort Stamps, and E.H. BCRF ribbon die
Next on my agenda, a Clean and Layered card for: The Card Concept: Rustic Neutrals - right up my alley!
A new GinaMarie die, sentiment and cotton from PTI, and a perfect inside sentiment compliments of Honeybee and Essentials by Ellen United we Flourish set.
I brought my newest Altenew goodies with me ... of course you know that Fantasy Floral die was tops on my pile of goodness. I shared a few ways that I had used it, and then got into Bobby's stash to help her create a few to play with, too... hope she liked them - more my style, than hers, I'm betting.
Here is what I came away with, just for fun - take a look at all this color [Ms. Coni!!]:
Cardstock from Bobby's "pink stash" and a piece of patterned paper
from my Altenew Reflections Kit.
A few cards completed today from those that began in Bobby's craft room ... I missed you, my friend! 'Til next time... thank you for your hospitality! xx

I love that you guys get so much creating done, when I get together it's all talk and laughing! Must take a note from your book ps anytime you guys want to pop round for a little bit of crafting just let me know, I'll put the kettle on!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to craft with a friend...especially when you get cards made. I have a couple of friends that are great one on one craft partners and a group of women that meet to make. Those are some of the best days. Women need the companionship of women. Your cards are AWESOME, looks like a fabulous day was had.
ReplyDeleteHow much fun you and Bobby must have had. You Michigan gals....The cards you made are just lovely, and I particularly like the card you made for our challenge at Time Out. Thanks so much for playing along.
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic for you both, cant think of two nicer people ( who I have never met but I have exchanged enough comments with to feel totally comfortable with and know I would enjoy crafting with). Bet it was a briliant day.
ReplyDeleteAll around awesome. How fun that you could go play with a special friend! That in itself is cause for celebration. Shopping without spending a dime is magical, too! And to create three beauties to boot! What a magnificent day! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how on earth you can say you're afraid of color, Missy. That third card is awash with it. So glorious!! I'm glad you got to complete the other two. I don't know why I didn't borrow that ribbon die. :( I have two finished and will post one today but I have so many other ideas and am looking at things in a little different way thanks to you, Michele. It was a great time. Thanks for coming.
ReplyDeleteWow, Michele ... you are equally skilled with bold colour as you are with neutrals, witness cards two and three here ... both stunning! Your serene, calm and beautiful camouflaged ribbon is delicious ... such a lovely softness in the pink (and those tiny sequin blooms) ... and fortitude in the sentiments ... a wonderful combination! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS cards Michele! I want to play with you two sometime too! :0)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful, Michele!
ReplyDeleteThree beauties Michele! Love all three of them and always appreciate you playing along with us at Time Out!
ReplyDeleteThose are totally different yet equally gorgeous!!! Love the first card for the camouflaging ribbon and the tiny flowers! Next two cards are fabulous too! You have amazing eyes in combining die cuts!
ReplyDeleteAll such wonderful cards as usual Michelle. Your Time Out card is so wonderful. I LOVE the die cut ribbon over the pink spray. Such a subtle and wonderful effect. I also LOVE the words you chose. Perfect! Thanks so much for joining in our challenge and sharing your creativity with us at Time Out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to spend the day, and what a gorgeous trio of cards to prove it! So lovely to share stash too! Uplifting as always! Love and hugs! Xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like you and Bobby had a very creative time! I love the ribbon card stamping and placement! Such a wonderful idea. Your neutral Colours are definitely beautimous and the floral...wow!

I am in love with the beautiful display of variety here Michele!! Your first card is wonderfully CAS, the second is as dreamy as it gets with the pretty white pumpkins. And just look at the spectacular color on your final masterpiece!! This from the lady who is a self proclaimed lover of gray!! You rocked the color...you go girl, BRAVO!!!
ReplyDeleteThese three beautiful cards are completely different in terms of style, and they're all fabulous, Michele! I especially LOve the ribbon card - what a creative way of layering the ribbon die cut and the pink stamp! It's so fun to craft with your friends, isn't it? I wish I had a craft friend near me! Hideko
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day! And your creations are all so lovely. Can't imagine how you got all those done. I would probably talk more than craft. Your colored beauty is so stunning! You are definitely as talented when playing with color as with neutrals. Your white pumpkins design is gorgeous but must say the bright colors are my favorite today!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of these cards! So stunning!
ReplyDeleteWow, you had a lot of fun and all these creations are gorgeous - I don't know which is my fav, I love them ALL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and oh so elegant cards! You can do it all girl!
ReplyDeleteForgive me for being so late to visit when all of these gorgeous cards were waiting for me! I see you had a really wonderful and productive visit with Bobby, and honestly, I can't even pick a fave...they are all really beautiful, Michele!
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous!! I want to come play cards with you someday!! I love your creations-especially the second one with the cotton stamp and the white pumpkins. What dies did you use for the pumpkins? I need it!!! I don't have any pumpkin dies!!
