Time Out Challenge #92

Words are often times my greatest catalyst when it comes to card design.  I'm always inspired by those phrases chosen by Time Out ... these, for Challenge #92, are no exception:

Paint The Flying Spirit Of The Birds
Rather than its Feathers

I borrowed one of the stamped sentiments from this month's 12 Kits of Occasions package - it was meant to be...

Winnie & Walter provides the 'wings.'
I've made my card base from E.H. Linen Vellum
Here's another shot - but I wish you were here
to see the gorgeous light that shines through.

I think little Laura got it perfectly... thanks for visiting on this perfect Autumn day!

  10. You always seem to have the perfect sentiment, Michele, which is the hardest part of cardmaking for me. And you make the most wonderful images to go with them. I can just imagine what this looks like on vellum.

  14. Gasp! I think 'You' got it perfectly, too! I love how you used this lovely quote to inspire you, Michele! Your 'golden' die cut leaves work beautifully in contrast with the linen vellum, and your design is stunning! Once again, you nailed it, my friend!!!
