I have in my possession the BEST set of sentiments ... no, I didn't write them... but oh I might have - snarky, fun, and pun-y, too! Wouldn't you agree that TT's cute little owl has the perfect expression on her face for this one ...
Technique Tuesday: Hi There Owl, and Sassy Lazy Thoughts
I've been trying to make the back of my cards as fun as the front ... someone wrote these with me in mind... I'm sure of it!! take a look at this one:
Technique Tuesday: It's a Masterpiece!
Okay, this girl has to see what her team-mates have made... join me over at the CTS blog!? It is sure to put a smile on our faces!
=] Michele
What a clever way to use the sketch! And the sentiment is brilliant, and so cute with that sweet owl, Jo x
ReplyDeleteHillarious! Love your take on the sketch, so fun.
ReplyDeleteMay I say it ... dare I ... what a hoot, Michele! There, I did! That little owl is such a sweetie in her little floral bonnet ... yep, that's definitely a nap face! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou're spot on, Michele...this really is the perfect sentiment for your cute little owl! Beautiful coloring, and I love that you chose jute for the sketch lines, too! Such a darling card!
ReplyDeleteSeriously I 'need' some of these stamps, what a fantastic and fun card... and with my fave embossing folder of yours too!
ReplyDeleteSo clever to let some twine help you with the sketch!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE those TT sentiments--so snarky cute!
Look at you miss smarty pants using the twine in the best possible manner for this sketch! That little owl is a delight. And yes, her expression is a perfect match to the sentiment. Love the back of the card too. How FUN are those stamps!! I might "need" them LOL!!
ReplyDeleteOnce again this is GENIUS!!! I LOVE how you used the twine on this and that little owl is so cute. However, I adore the snarky comment!! Great card.
ReplyDeleteI love this! The owl is so adorable, and that sentiment so me! I think I need that stamp set :)
ReplyDeleteWell it didn't take long for you to convince me that I need that sentiment stamp set! And the one you've used here is absolutely PERFECT for that owl. It matches the expression on her face!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. I especially love the background. Makes me feel comfortable :) Using twines instead of stripes also is clever take on the sketch.
ReplyDeleteSooooo cuteeee! What a darling little owl and that sentiment...... so fun! I need that!
ReplyDeleteSuper adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove it front and back. Your a girl after my own heart I swear. I have another friend who gave me a stamp that says something about how hard I worked on this card so make sure you admire it and dont even think about throwing it out. Of course I find most usually just read the card and dont look at the back unless you instruct them, unlike us of course!!!
ReplyDeleteAdore this card front to back, top to bottom and everywhere in between! So cute and funny. Oh and clever! Again, have to say you have the best embossing folders and get such crisp embossing. What brand is this one? I had asked you before about the basketweave one on the green strip on a previous post. I have lots of embossing folders, but you find ones that I'd love to have in my stash. You probably found it online. My folders are from brick and mortar stores. Anyway...love the card and your creativity!! :) Hugs!
ReplyDelete3rd time lucky keep mucking it up lol but just wanting to say your card is just too cute!!! and do love a puny sentiment...and love the oh so truthful sentiments for the back of your cards my friend xx
ReplyDeleteYou had me at 'owl'. So darling, Michele.
ReplyDeleteSo, so darling, Michele! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love this one too!
ReplyDeleteme again - what embossing folder??? RME... hehe
