Altenew August 2017 Challenge

I had just received my selection from Altenew's latest release the day this beautiful Altenew Inspiration Challenge arrived in my inbox ... how could I resist?

Erum's gorgeous card really inspired me to use my new Sketchy Floral... if you haven't made it your own yet, there is something you need to be aware of... it stamps a full 5" x 7" panel!  You read that right... and I was able to create two cards with one go of the stamp, and gold heat embossing!

The first is the lower half of the stamped image - splatter-stamped with Altenew Dusk ink, and two Oxides: fossilized Amber, and Vintage Photo.

... that bit of gold peeking from the corner is from Altenew's current card kit.

The upper half of the panel was fussy cut, and turned about for my second card:

This card panel is the Dusk-y card stock from their kit.

Isn't that splatter a fun way to color without really coloring?  Off to the gallery for one ... which one will I choose?
