Freshly Made Sketches #228

Hi, friends ... yes, I'm back again!  Sorry [not sorry =]

I had to come back to play cards with Linda at Freshly Made Sketches 298... oh I saw the challenge, and jumped in head first!
Wanna take the swim with me?  That's too funny, as I cannot swim a stroke!  Here's my way of swimming ...

E.H. Mermaid Tail, and sentiment, by Julie Ebersole;
a few distress oxide inks on silver embossing;
SSS waves white embossed onto linen vellum

Now for some news ... I won two tickets to see The Live Tour of Dancing with the Stars!!!!!!!  I'm taking my best dance partner!

  6. Congrats on your DWTS tickets win!! How exciting! I'd buy some if David Ross were in the troupe..... That EH mermaid set is amazing!!!! I'll be making several for the bigger girls in the family with summer birthdays, and who knows, I just might have to CASE this one!! It's truly fabulous. Love the yellow tail fading to green fading to blue. And the waves you've created...brilliant. Great card! Bev

  13. Look at that gorgeous mermaid's tail. So shimmery and beautiful. I adore the soft white waves cresting around it, too. This is the best kind of swimming. I'm a little surprised to learn you don't swim, but not terribly. My mom didn't swim either and we had an inground pool in our backyard. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful creativity! Hugs!
