Nora sent me two panels stamped and white heat-embossed with their Peace Out set ... think she knows that I'm a flower child of the 70's?!
Since we'll be celebrating our independence on July 4th, I've water colored with our Nation's colors: red, white, and blue... just a faint wash of white pigment ink colored the middle section over Nora's beautiful water color card stock.
Wplus9's Be Merry Sentiments provided the addition of 'to you and yours'
then, since there seems to be unrest in so many places in our world right now, I really wanted to wish Peace to the UN, too ... here are the colors of the UN flag:
PTI's Holiday Cheer set provided the love & joy
Peace, love, and crafty goodness to you my friends... thanks so much for keeping our world full of beauty, and good wishes... and thanks again to Nora for sharing her CAS-ual Friday supplies with me!

Such a pretty blue over that fabulous floral centrepiece on your second card, Michele ... and a brilliant contrast of the bold red, white and blue colour combo with the delicate bloom lettering on your first ... fantastic impact! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)

Such a fabulous stamp! Love your designs, especially the red, white and blue for the 4th!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to use that stamp Michele - it looks great with the watercolour!
ReplyDeleteLove them both sweet Michele! Our world is desperately in need of peace. If only everyone could see the beauty of these two cards and find it in their hearts to love one another and put an end to the hate and violence.
ReplyDeleteThese are both fantastic Michele!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards, Michele! I love the clever way you added white with your pigment ink on your patriotic card and that you used the colors of the UN flag on your 2nd card! We learn something new every day! I also love all the texture on your card bases!
ReplyDeleteSensational cards Michele, quite a clever way to use both stamped panels.
ReplyDeleteLove these two cards, nothing beats white embossing and then vivid colours. Perfection.
