The Heart Desires Challenge 13

I lost the dearest man I've ever known on June 13th ... I married the best man a woman could be lucky enough to find on May 13th ... both adore/adored hummingbirds, and me - not necessarily in that order =]

For Dad, Tom and The Heart Desires #13:

Altenew, Wplus9, and about 10 different Distress Inks were used in the making of this card!

I don't think I'll need to explain how I was inspired, but that little Ruby Throat adds the perfect spot for red ... take a looky loo at this gorgeous number:



I'm thinking a little slip of vellum may be in order for card deux!

    The 'Gorgeous Number' here is your absolutely stunning card, Michele! Your flowers are beautiful and the hummingbird is perfect...I also love how you blended your DI's on this card, too...so striking!!!

    I know Tom is smiling as he sees this, and I know your dad is smiling down from heaven. This is such a perfect take on the inspiration photo at THD! The colors are gorgeous, and I love how you've used them. That little hummer is sweet, and the sentiment is heartfelt and wonderful. Beautiful, beautiful card. xo Bev

    Oh Michele, what a gorgeous and stunning card!!!! I can see where your inspiration came from, the photo is just as gorgeous and inspiring. I married the love of my life on the 13th as well!! I adore hummingbirds too, they just amaze me and are so beautiful to watch. The colors on your card are so beautiful and I can tell you used a lot of distress inks! Your hummer is stunning too and the sentiment is just perfect. Yes, we were both very lucky to have the men we have/had in our lives. Big hugs to you my friend, Brenda
