Two fabulous photo inspirations today...
from Inspired by all the Little Things #61:
More gorgeous blue blooms from Inkspirational #137:
One design, two ways ... I'll be honest - I haven't adhered a thing YET ... taking a lesson from my friend Bobby! I really felt like the gorgeous pink stucco needed to make an appearance ... but OH, it is just as pretty without!
We'll see if either gets a nod from the 'judges!'
Hope your week is starting out with a smile!

ReplyDeleteMy Card Attic
Wowza, these are both stunning! I love the little bit of pink but I am trending towards monochromatic these days, so the "plain" blue is my favorite! But truly, there is nothing plain about it, they're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWell, if I was a judge, both versions would be getting a nod! Fabulous interpretation of the themes.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, that little bit of pink is PRETTY!! But then again I love it without the pink too. Call me fickle!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bit of pink!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful inspired cards! I do like the added pink ;) !!! Thank you for playing with us!
ReplyDeleteSo very wonderful Michele, What a great colour you chose for the roses!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are both gorgeous, Michele! Wonderful takes on the inspiration photo!
ReplyDeleteBoth are so pretty, Michele, and wonderful submissions for both challenges! If I were a judge, you'd definitely get a high score from me!
ReplyDeleteI like it both ways Michelle. Actually, I love it! Your work is always stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card design. Such pretty blues with wonderful depth. I really like the color of pink you chose. It's almost a coral. I do prefer the card without the pink, though. Those flowers are so beautiful and shine wonderfully on the second card! :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou know me, Michele. I've gotten so simplistic in my old age that I have to say I prefer without the pink, although that is a lovely pink, both on your card and in the inspiration photo.
ReplyDeleteThat swatch of pinky-peach on the first card makes me think of Rick-Rack..Nodding like a bobble-head:) LOVE them both!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous take on the inspiration photo, Michele! Your Bamboo Roses look beautiful in blue and I love how you framed everything with the postage stamp panel! A really stunning card!!!
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers, and I love the mix of regular and Oxide Distress Inks. Beautiful card! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMichele, not a judge but I'll not to the bit of pink peeking out. Love that blush shade. Fabulous card(s).
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful flowers with a fun design!! Love the scalloped die cuts!!! I like BOTH cards but the pink leaves an unexpected element in it that is kind of funky.
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of the challenge! Thank you for sharing with us at Inspired By this week!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so lovely! I like it both ways - and I love how you did your flowers. Thanks for joining us this week at Inspired By All The Little Things!
ReplyDeleteStunning, Michele! I love the clear, peaceful blue color (with or without the bit of pink)! And the sentiment is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous design - love those blue flowers and the squares have a window effect, like they're climbing the wall o a country cottage.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges.
