Jen Mitchell is our Sketch artist this week for CTS #225! I'm feeling a very graphic vibe with this one ...
Armed with another cool Bee's Knees set, I flipped Jen's Sketch and here's where I landed ... we're so close to Lake Michigan now, I can hear the gulls calling, and more than a few great Heron's have been fishing in the neighborhood pond!
Don't you agree that my Lil' Inkers panel makes for a beautiful spot for my gull to fish?
You all have been making just fabulous cards for our gallery ... I just know you are going to have a blast with Jen's Sketch ... see you there, soon!

Such a striking take on the sketch, Michele! Your impression plate really makes the gull pop and I LOVE how you added the water drops...Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteThat die is so versatile Michele. It's on my list and I hope to get it home soon. Love the blue shade you used and your gull is darling.
ReplyDeleteAnother fab card Michele and clever ideas there too ;) Viv xx
ReplyDeleteBoy oh boy, if we both had superman's vision, we could wave to each other from across the Lake! I love how the embossing panel looks like depth charts on "our" lake. That seagull image is pretty darn cool, too. Great take on Jen's sketch. Wonderful card! Bev
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree the background is perfect with the gull! And I like the water droplets too. How fun that you can hear the gulls! We have Great Blue Heron's nesting in the national park near us. So fun to watch them feed their babies!!

ReplyDeleteSuch clever use of that ripply texture for your lake, Michele ... the gull is fabulous against it ... and I love that gold fish with the drops falling away from it! As ever, my friend, such awesome attention to detail! Hugs, Anita :)
