CAS[E] this Sketch #221

Donna Mikasa is our Sketch artist this week!  Oh, my friend, though I am a bit nervous, I just know our followers will love it as much as I do... here's Donna's CTS #221 Sketch:

A never before used Hero Arts set was calling my name this week ... I thought this handsome fella deserved a little play time!  Goodness knows I don't make enough 'guy' cards ...

Our Donna is the Queen of CAS design... she may better appreciate this version:

Either way, isn't he just cockadoodle-y-cute?!  Whoa ... I may have thought again about the placement of those enamel dots!  Geeeesh!

Let's go see the gorgeousness that inspired this Sketch, shall we?  I cannot wait to see all my team-mate's cards each week!

LOVE seeing what you create, too ... see you in the gallery!

  2. Oh my gosh...crowing with delight in seeing your dapper, handsome roosters! Fabulous! As for the enamel dots...you've made me laugh (but only because you brought their placement to our attention. Let's just say they make your rooster all the more 'realistic' *grin*)

  4. Well, I love both versions, although I am partial to the CAS design! And, what a handsome guy he is...WOW! If you hadn't mentioned the placement of the enamel dots, I probably wouldn't have noticed, but now that you point it out, that is funny :)

  5. LOl...those dots at least they are read and not a brown beige-y sort of color. That handsome rooster looks great in both settings.

  6. Tee hee, Michele ... strategically placed enamel dots ... I laughed out loud at your mention of them! Your rooster is such a handsome chap on both ... the grey background in particular brings out his wonderful plumage! Hugs, Anita :)

  7. I would have seen the dots as rooster pooh if you hadn't mentioned it! hahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Got a good chuckle, my friend! Both cards are pretty darn marvelous, if you ask me, and I've been looking at this stamp, though in my world, the only good chicken/rooster is in my oven! Oh how they pecked me when I was little!! What's the scalloped edge die on your first one? It's wonderful. Fun cards!! Love 'em (pooh or no...hahahaha). Bev

  13. He doesn't look at all like my pet rooster but I love him anyway, Michele. I love his coops, too, the red and white stripes and the gray and white burlap.
