12 Kits of Occasions: Hello, friend!

Sharron Gregory, of On Papillon Wings, is our Hostess this month at The 12 Kits of Occasions blog!  Oh, didn't you get the memo?  It's the end of the month - YIKES!

"Hello, friend!" is Sharron's theme and, let me tell you, this girl? really does know how to 'do' friendship!

Here is a little bit of the love Sharron sent us:

SO much goodness!

Sharron and I have a mutual love of flowers, flutter-bys, and apparently papers!  I had just purchased this set of lovely papers from PTI!

Here is where my heart took me:

I've prepped my panel with an MFT die, and the sentiment with a PPP tag die
The counterpart to this darling cat has already been sent to another sweet bloggy friend!  Wish I'd snapped a photo first!

Inside:
"Goodness knows, you are always there to pull me out of a puddle!"
Seems those darlings were a team 12 Kits favorite this month!

MFT Wonky frames dies

If one cactus is good, another makes it great!!

Last but not least, for our teamie Lisa, who is missing her beautiful boy this week!  I know he's not exactly colored perfectly, but I know she'll think he's pretty cute =]

That's it for me this month ... OH just thought you'd get a chuckle out of my photography set up:

My mother's chair, where I sit daily - well not quite like this ... xx

Thank you, Sharron, for such a fun kit... and thanks to you for stopping by!  Now run over to the 12 Kits blog, if you haven't been yet!!!  There's magic happening there... xx

  1. Love your very 'technical' photo set up Michele... it's one of the hardest parts of this bloggy thing, cause a nice photo is sometimes the hardest part of the card (and when all you want to do is make cards, that's so not fair lol). ps Oh by the way, your cards are all amazing, you never ever fail to inpsire my sweet friend x

  2. Oh my goodness! What we don't do for our craft! What a stack. It seems to work, though! :) Your cards are fabulous. I do like the kitty that is just itching to be colored. He/She looks grand as is, though! You did a wonderful job on the whole set. Thanks ever so much for sharing! :) Hugs!

  4. Oooh, so much cuteness in one post! Each of your cards is simply fantastic done in exquisite Michele style. The first card is my favorite with that darling little kitty and CAS design. I totally love your cacti cards as well. I'm wishing I had saved mine now so I could CASE yours. ;0) Love your photo set up! I need to get more creative with my slim photography skills so maybe I can get better pictures too. I always leave here inspired by you Michele. Sending (hugs)!

  6. Fantastic photo set up; glad you're not perched atop the chair though...a tad precarious! Your kit cards...ohmystars! Sheer delights! Darling floral kitty (love the sentiment, because it's so true! And you are one of those life-changing friends: thank you); sweet rain-coat kids (rather like my niece and nephew, who traveled to Disneyland just yesterday with my brother, sister-in-law and her parents! Look out Disneyland!); cacti cuties (the wonky frame adds such charm); pretty potted flower (my plants are loving the brightness here!); and totally darling puppy (looks like my mini schnauzer, Casey, my furbaby, who I miss, along with her 'sister' Squirt, ever day....). Yes indeed: an array of awesome!
    Hugs~c

  12. First off, I LOVE your wit! Now the cards... well at least one we telepathed similar creative thought. The 2 sharing an umbrella came way too easy, right down to the yellow slickers, sentiment and paper! All sweet, but we had the sweetest elements to work with! Love the photo setup, I also do mine in front of the brightest window in the house, on a chair. Great minds....

  20. Oh Michele.. you had to leave us with that stack of chairs.. photography set up.. I would never have guessed! The things we do for good light! HAHA! Hey.. it it works right? I love your first card with the kitty by the printed planters. So clever to cut the leaves out - the kitty looks like it was meant to go there! Your kids in the yellow raincoats are colored beautifully and I love the way you framed the cactus/planters.

  23. Chuckled to myself when I saw your first-class photo shop, Michele. I'm still trying to figure mine out but instead blame it on the fact I use my iPad and not a good camera. Your cards are as cute as can be, and it's obvious you enjoyed Sharron's kit.

  29. I'm cracking up over your set up but swooning over your cards. The way you cut just the tops of the plants for dimension is crazy awesome (as my nieces would say). Your succulents with the peekaboo window is stuck in my head...in the most wonderful way. Oh, how I missed your cards last month!
