I couldn't let the day go by without sharing two cards I made using a few of the awesome sets that were released yesterday from Essentials by Ellen - Otterly Awesome! and coordinating dies, and Wonky Backdrops - all by the incomparable Julie Ebersole!
I LOve Otters - LOVE them! This stamp set took me back to one of my many trips to Seattle, and my first of many visits to their fabulous aquarium!
I wanted to try a little 'underwater' look ... tell me if you think I managed it? I simply used blue ink to stamp the under water half - then tucked the stamped/die cut image through a slit in the paper.
Julie has given us the most adorable sentiments to choose from - this one is perfect for my guy!
Here's a second card ... just because they are too fun to stop at just one!
So happy that I felt great on Monday ... Tuesday was another story - but I just want to thank each and every one of you for your kindness, and sweet comments! Also, to those of you who went to Instagram to watch that Mirror, Mirror in action!! Truly makes my heart smile ...

Leave it to you to tuck those little critters in and make give it that underwater look. Fantastic. And I'll bet your sweetie loves that first one especially. Darling, darlin'! Bev

ReplyDeleteOne of the highlights of our trip to California last year was seeing the sea otters. We thought they might be hard to find but it wasn't a problem at all. There have been several otter sets lately but I think this is my favorite. And your creative underwater scene is amazing!
