There is a special friend that I must celebrate today ... amy T. this is NOT your card, but certainly is indicative of my thoughts! [the real thing is on it's way - you know me, late for everything!]
For Stamping Smiles Designs Tic Tac Toe #15 ... yes I'm back ... with Burlap, Word Dies, and Bokeh Effect:
My 'bokeh' birthday balloons are quite difficult to see, but that is the idea, right? 'Oh' was created by snipping a few letters from the Mama Elephant die cut words. And the 'burlap' is that favorite of mine, [remember my waffle paper] in white.
amy, I do hope you have the very best birthday and do every fun thing your heart desires!!! love you bunches! xx

This is amazing!! I LOVE your fun bokeh balloons. Such a cool idea!!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture and pretty bling on this card Michele! I haven't made a tall card in such a long time, need to whip one of these babies up soon!
ReplyDeleteSwoon, love the size and layers. so cool and creamy, perfection on a summer day.
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous, Michele! The soft colors, the bokeh balloons look so dreamy and pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! I really like the monochromatic look. The burlap adds such fun texture as does that embossing. Oh happy day indeed, being able to see your lovely work! :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm....purty. Love the soft blue on the white, and all of the texture. That waffle paper is fantastic, too! Will be heading off to Polka Dots on Friday (if things are good here) with my sister; we're taking Emma out for her birthday, (she just turned three and is in love with paper!!), and will be looking to see if they carry it. Love how you've made your own "Oh." You clever, clever girly you! Bev
ReplyDeleteWaffle paper? I think I need some of that. I love how the color of the balloon panel gently overshoots onto it, Michele, and the embossed outline balloons along with the bokeh ones - fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bokeh balloons and 'burlap'...*OH* my! Absolutely gorgeous...and ingenious...and WOW! Amy will love this, as do I. Enormous LOVE!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
