... so I'm taking her cue - maybe two!
Technique Tuesday Agapanthus
Hmmmm. Here is #2:
Ahhhh, there's my old friend Mr. Grey =]
You'll have to run by Freshly Made Sketches to see which one made the cut!
I had the best time helping a new blogger today ... Misty, I do wish you the most fun blogging - it has opened up my world like I could never imagined!
I know I won't have to ask all my friends twice to say hello to Misty at Happy Ink Designs. She is just finding her footing and would love to have a few visitors - oh it seems like yesterday that Chaitali, and Darnell, and Debby were holding my hand! This is a great place to find the best, and most helpful friends, Misty!
Hope you all have a great weekend ... see you next week!
=] Michele
BOTH are fabulous Michele and I couldn't pick one as a favourite! I do love that tone on tone of the grey with the embossed circle, but I also love that spotlighting on the first! Have a wonderful weekend! Hazel xx

You've done a fantastic job with the sketch, I love the subtle circle highlights!
ReplyDeleteOh, how clever to do the spotlight technique with the Agapanthus stamp, Michele - it looks great!!! The soft colours you have worked with are so beautiful!!! Mr Grey - ...isn't he just a great guy - I should have him visit me much more, too!!!! Your card is simply stunning with the wonderful dry embossing, the fabulous little butterfly and the little sentiment flag!!!! And I loooooove the enamel dots - looks like two very soft grey ones you've got underneath the butterfly. These are both so beautiful, my friend and now I have to go and have a look which one you linked at the challenge ...my money is on Mr Grey!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!
Hugz
Such amazing cards for this week's challenge, Michele! As the recipient of some of your "blog love", Misty couldn't have asked for advice from a more generous and giving blog friend - YOU! I'll definitely go check out her new blog and say hello.
ReplyDeleteI'm also off to check out which card design of yours was chosen - a very difficult decision as they're both fab!
I am loving both of your cards Michele, they are both a great take on the fun sketch! How sweet of you to help out a new blogging friend. I will certainly head over there and join up! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteI just love it when you give us a double dose Michele! The first is lovely and delicate with that pretty pop of pink. But I have a feeling your beautiful gray card is the on that made the cut. After all, it has your signature embossing!! Off to visit your new friend Misty ;)
ReplyDeleteI went off to visit Misty and then came back to drool over your cards again. I'm thinking gray made the cut, Michele, but either way the cards are winners.
ReplyDeleteHello there, sweet Michelle! Thanks so much for popping over to say hello at my poor neglected blog! So like you to be supportive and I SO appreciate it, as I'm sure so many others do! Loved scrolling through and catching up on your creative pursuits! LOVED your use of PTI's botanical blocks on those two recent cards...BOTH are gorgeous!!! Your watercolor masterpiece was just that...a masterpiece and gorgeous, as well! Love the versatility of your talent...so inspiring...you can do it all and I love that you challenge yourself to do just that! I'll continue to be inspired by you and other friends while I'm unable to create, myself! Seeing everyone else's work is always a lift in my spirits and an inspiration as well! Thank you again, my dear, for sharing your time and talent with so many!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo really gorgeous cards, Michele! You know I'm swooning over the soft gray and vellum on the 2nd one...WOW! Awesome interpretations on the sketch, as always! Off to welcome Misty to blog land :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a doll, I'll be off to visit Misty in a few. Your cards are wonderful reinterpretations on the sketch. The soft pinks of your spotlight card are endearing. Your gray card is just fab too. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Michele!! First of all, BOTH of your cards are stunning!! I really enjoy your style. And Thank you so very much for all your help!! Who knows how long it would have taken me to hit that "publish" button had it not been for you. I only we've only just "met" but you've shown more kindness to me than I ever could have imagined. For that I thank you. Oh!! And thank you for the shout out too!! Your friends have been extremely welcoming and supportive. Big hugs!!
ReplyDeleteWowza two for the price of one! Love them both! Love how you spotlighted the flowers on #1 and oh that sweet embossing with a sliver of vellum in #2!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fab job with the sketch on both of these cards! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
