For the 'Water color like a Master':
A sweet little Sweet Pea from the Year of Flowers
Not quite as watery as it should be? But I liked the colors, and splatters that didn't smear!
Just for fun, because it's my favorite from PTI!:
Not a perfect fit for any of the challenges ... but OH did I have fun with my newest
Gansai Tambi metallic water colors - thanks to Julie E. for enabling! - and the gorgeous
Botanical Blocks - I'm sending this one to the Masterpiece Inspiration gallery,
in honor of Georgia O'Keefe.
Can't see that shine?
LOve the white metallic!
Thanks for stopping by!!

ReplyDeleteLOVE the sweet peas:)) and that shimmer in the Sunflower..SCRUMPTIOUS!
ReplyDeleteLovin' your pretty sweet peas Michele, the colors are dreamy!! And your second card...SHAZAM!!! That one is frame worthy, LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteYou know how I love these! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous, Michele! Love the clear colors of the sweet peas! And the botanical block is just stunning, such lovely watercoloring!
ReplyDeleteStunning and gorgeous! Just LOVE your watercoloring!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful watercolouring effects Michele, those metallics look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour watercolouring is simply wonderful, Michele!!! Those flowers on the first card are so beautiful I want to reach out and touch it!!!! Love the teeny tiny splatters and the very soft bg!!!!! That is definitely a small work of art, my friend!!! And the second card with all the black and the metallic paint is as beautiful as the first one!!! Love the little square with the sentiment and the bit of gold thread underneath!!!! These are really breathtaking, Michele!!! Beautifully done!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!
Hugz
So glad you are playing with watercolors some more. These cards are so fabulous, and somehow just a touch softer than your usual style, though still brilliant. I especially love the sunflower.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers Michele and I LOVE the sunflower card with the embossed frame! Hope you are fully recovered, have a lovely day! Hazel xx
ReplyDeleteMy Card Attic
Beautiful! The florals are stunning, but I just love that little sentiment block!!! You are a master!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards! Oh if my watercoloring looked even remotely like that first card, I'd be in heaven. Mine looks absolutely waterlogged! LOL But the colors you used and the look you achieved is fantastic. I really like that second card, too, but the first one stole the show for me. :)
ReplyDeleteYour Sweet Pea card is a watercolour stunner, Michele! I also love the "lack of" colour on your Sunflower card ... by not colouring the whole flower, you draw my eyes to the amazing touches of colour you did use, as well as some exquisite shadowing. Two beautiful cards, my friend!
ReplyDeleteOh, those sweet peas are absolutely gorgeous! Love the Botanical Blocks card too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous watercoloring, Michelle! I love your details on the first card, and your sunflower is STUNNING! I love, love, love how you framed it, too...so striking!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow! What beautiful watercoloring Michele!! Love the colors, love the flowers and love the card designs. I think you need to teach me how to watercolor!!!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!! I LOVE both of these cards Michele!! I have those watercolors too. My husband slapped me on the hand too, for buying them because I spent too much that day on Amazon!! Now I want to try making a card like yours!!
ReplyDeleteYou ARE a Master, Michele! These are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Your watercoloring skills are superb!! Both of these are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSooooo gorgeous! Sooooo gorgeous! (That's one for each card :)
