Okay let's be honest ... usually trying a new technique somehow turns into a shopping excursion for me, this newbie, who hadn't ever heard of this technique! Well, not this time! I was determined to 'use what I had' and found a little pot of Perfect Pearls in my stash from a SSS monthly kit - add a bit of water, and a pouncing I did go!
For HLS March CAS Challenge:
and a little close-up ... [as if] that makes it
easier to see the shine!
SSS Fresh Daisies die; Shabby Shutters Distress ink.
I've been inspired by Hazel, who chose to reserve her card for later sentiments ... always nice to have a few anything goes cards on hand!
I'm really dying to try a grey and white ... maybe there could be a little shopping for white pearl?
Thanks for stopping in!

ReplyDeleteTotally beautiful!! I like that you went through your stash and "found" the supplies rather then buy them!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. And it is so nice to have a few note cards where the handwritten note is the star of the show.

ReplyDeleteI went out and bought a bottle of pearl paint yesterday, at Meijers of all places. I have Perfect Pearls but didn't know if it would give the same effect. You've proved me wrong. This looks great, Michele. Love the purple and yellow. Guess I won't used that same die for mine. ;)
