Essentials by Ellen March Pin-Sights Challenge

Banner-PIN-sights

I'm not going to take much of your time today... I know you are all busy ironing your Easter dresses, and polishing those Patent-leather shoes ... right?  Oh those were the days!

Take a few minutes to gawk at this gorgeous March Pin-sight inspiration photo instead:

It is so beautiful, I may just print it on photo-paper and frame it!

See if you can find how I was inspired ...

Sentiment from Mondo Magnolia; gold embossed flowers from Bohemian Garden
Yes.  A little slip of vellum in homage to my petticoat that went under my Easter dress of childhood.

What is your favorite Easter memory?
Besides my petticoat, while we all went to Mass with Mom, my awesome Dad used to hide our eggs, and candy, providing us each a hand-drawn treasure map - umm.
there were NINE of us!
Happy Easter!  xx

  1. Beautiful card Ms Michele. Those flowers are the bit of that photo collage that stands out to me as well. Fabulous take. What a great Dad, and how wonderful to have that happy memory.

  2. Happy Easter to you Michele! Your vellum and gold florals are lovely!
My mom used to sew matching dresses for the two of us for Easter Sunday:) and I always got a new white bonnet and white patten leather shoes too. All my other clothes were second-hand from the neighborhood girls. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane:) Hugs!

  6. And Easter Blessings to you my friend! Your card is a perfect take on that panel in the inspiration photo! I looked right past that one and onto those lovely greens... Spot on sweetie! I loved the yellow Easter dress my mom made for me when I was about 11. It was the perfect Easter yellow. A-line, and sleeveless with applique daisies around the hem. And white sling-back dress shoes. I was stylin'!! I wish I had a photo of it... I still have my Easter hat from when I was three, too. It's hanging in my bedroom. Have a wonderful day tomorrow! Bev
