Background stamping, a second helping of my first use of those MFT Cat-itude stamps, and a MFT rectangle frame - okay, I confess I just couldn't dispose of any little piece of this! Leaving those characters on the outside frame un-touched looks kinda cute, right?
Inside sentiment:
"To say we like you more than dead fish would be an understatement!"
This is a total homage to Donna's darling card!
Thanks again, Donna, for inspiring enabling me!
edited to add: thank you!!
Thank YOU Stamping Smiles Designs for this fun new challenge! This next card is just for fun - I'm thinking nobody could take thirds of fish:

ReplyDeleteMichele! We both just burst out laughing at your first cat fish card and that brilliant sentiment ... thought about designing stamps?? Love the popped up panel ... brilliant colouring! Sweet second card ... and yes, I could take thirds of any of your cards! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeletePawsome you joined us again, Michele! I am really loving background stamping these days. You really sparked my interest with how you used the frame and left the border portion of the images uncolored. I will be trying this soon. =)

Definitely cute, Michele. I've seen that technique and always say I'm going to do it but. . . You beat me to it and it looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your cards are absolutely adorable, Michele! I love how you framed out the colored images on the first one, and left the B&W border...so fun! Love your cute little fish bowl, too! Such darling whimsical cards, and I love them both to pieces :)
