... the envelope, please!! You'll get the idea when you see my card - one hopes.
CASology's Open cue had me digging through my stamp sets looking, searching, hoping for one set with the word open - sorry about your luck! As IF - just as much chance at winning that Power Ball billion!
Sorry ... I had made plans and you were all invited. On a brighter note, my card:
A sweet little envie from PTI, and Hero Arts Acts of Kindness
MFT and Authentique papers; Paper Smooches hearts
I know, I know ... should have used a white envelope - it is a CAS challenge - but I couldn't resist this gorgeous grey/red number. So please don't be too harsh, CASology ladies?
I'd love to have hearts floating up as I opened a love letter - when it comes down to it, I'd LOve a love letter ... thinking of Lisa Elton's sweet guy making her a birthday card ... *sigh*
Thanks for your visits this week! xx
A brilliant take on the cue word, Michele, and I love that yummy Authentique paper - that's just the kind of envelope a good love letter should arrive in. :D Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously who doesn't have plans for that Powerball jackpot! My Craft Cave would become a craft mansion complete with guest suites for when all my crafty friends pop over on my private jet for a visit! :D
Wow! I am so loving this card and that beautiful paper you made the envie out of. Just beautiful! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteso sweet!
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of the cue word, and your red and white envie and hearts are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe me if I said I made a quick trip to Florida and bought the winning ticket? Nah...me either! Sweet little card, and it does remain CAS with all that white space. Pretty paper! Cool card. Bev
ReplyDeleteI think it's PERFECTLY CAS even with that gorgeous envelope!! This is fabulous Michlele. Careful now, you are doing to give DA MAN a big head LOL!!!

ReplyDeleteLoVe that beautiful envelope! Whether it fits their idea of CAS or not is not our problem (teehee)! Great idea for Open too, I might say!

ReplyDeleteHow lovely it is?! This envelope fits perfectly here and not ruins CASness of this card. I think white texture envelope would be great here too. One more? :)
ReplyDeleteAdd that envelope die to the share list, Michele. I love this and there's still plenty of white space around the gorgeous paper.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I am really behind! How clever you are to create such a beautiful envie, and adding the fly away hearts is such a lovely idea! Absolutely stunning CAS card, and perfect for this week's cue card!
ReplyDeleteLove this, Michele! I'm so glad you used the patterned envelope. I think it makes the card. PS where is that darling pig I saw on FB? I'm completely in love with that card!!!
ReplyDeleteHow delicious, Michele ... I'm glad your little envie is a grey/red little number, complete with floating hearts ... IMHO it's perfectly CAS! Oh, and perfectly gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
