Virginia's View Challenge #20 - Texture!

It has been far too long since I've played along with the Virginia's View challenge - shame on me!  Life does sometimes get in the way with play-time, doesn't it?

I found a little something on my craft desk that was made for your challenge!!!  [LOve when that happens!]  AND I used one of my favorite tools - an embossing folder!!!

Bobby let me borrow this extraordinary folder
from Spellbinder's 3D collection called: Fabric Weave
#Winnie & Walter's Winter Woodland set provided the perfect sentiments!

Could it be more CAS?  Wish you were here to hold it! To me, it looks like gorgeous new-fallen snow ... the kind that drifts and swirls around so beautifully!  Wait.  what am I thinking?  That stuff could hold off for a few more months, as far as I'm concerned!!!

Perhaps I should have been thinking frosting?

Hope you like it Virginia!  Beyond that perfect little sentiment, and a die cut snowflake, it couldn't have been more simple to make!

Thanks for stopping by!

  13. Amazing card Michele. Sometimes the simplest cards are the most stunning and that is definitely true in this case. The texture from the embossing folder is fabulous and you used fantastic restraint to compliment it with minimal elements.

  22. That is one amazing embossing folder! I just love the simplicity of your card. The red is the most perfect choice for your sentiment too. No white stuff here; I'll keep sending warm breezes across the Lake as long as I can! This card looks like a winter winner to me, darlin'. Beeeautiful. Bev

  26. Yes, let's think frosting rather than snow...although you're right...we saw plenty of those pretty swirls on our drive (and I'm all good. They can melt now *grin*). Another beauty from a beauty...
