I found a little something on my craft desk that was made for your challenge!!! [LOve when that happens!] AND I used one of my favorite tools - an embossing folder!!!
Bobby let me borrow this extraordinary folder
from Spellbinder's 3D collection called: Fabric Weave
#Winnie & Walter's Winter Woodland set provided the perfect sentiments!
Could it be more CAS? Wish you were here to hold it! To me, it looks like gorgeous new-fallen snow ... the kind that drifts and swirls around so beautifully! Wait. what am I thinking? That stuff could hold off for a few more months, as far as I'm concerned!!!
Perhaps I should have been thinking frosting?
Hope you like it Virginia! Beyond that perfect little sentiment, and a die cut snowflake, it couldn't have been more simple to make!
Thanks for stopping by!

This is just gorgeous. What a fun embossing folder, and it looks like you did something very cool with the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThose embossing folders look amazing and so does your card! I can feel a 'shop' coming on lol
ReplyDeleteYes, let's stick to frosting instead of snow for now, but you're right! Such a perfect card for the VV challenge, and so beautifully CAS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful texture! I, of course, also prefer frosting over snow any day!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I don't get the fabric weave thingy, but it looks like snow -- er frosting to me :o)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, frosting or whipped cream sounds a lot better than snow!! This is fabulous and perfectly CAS!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! That folder is so cool. I LOVE what it does. Now I want it!!
ReplyDeleteOkay Michele-I just bought that folder. It is so cool!! My husband is going to kill me!!

Very cool "frosting". ;) Lovely CAS card!
ReplyDeleteAmazing card Michele. Sometimes the simplest cards are the most stunning and that is definitely true in this case. The texture from the embossing folder is fabulous and you used fantastic restraint to compliment it with minimal elements.
ReplyDeleteWow! That really does remind ME of windswept snow drifts...or frosting :)
ReplyDeleteOh there is nothing prettier than white on white! This is mesmerizing Michele!!
ReplyDeleteWOW - this is awesome - and such a great take on Virginia's challenge. As Always - love your cards!
ReplyDeleteHow cute - mitten state!!! If we had states in Sweden my state would be the Umbrella state )-:
Gorgeous embossing pattern! Love the swirly design with all the white--so elegant!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, that ef is so gorgeous, I have it and it makes great sand too...so it is definitely a year round kinda tool.
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love the texture and that pop of red in the sentiment is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh, Michele, this is really frosty!!! Gorgeous card! Love that folder too!
ReplyDeleteIt really does look like blown snow, Michele. I'm with you on it holding off. We've been spoiled with wonderful weather and I'm not looking forward to the change.
ReplyDeleteThat is one amazing embossing folder! I just love the simplicity of your card. The red is the most perfect choice for your sentiment too. No white stuff here; I'll keep sending warm breezes across the Lake as long as I can! This card looks like a winter winner to me, darlin'. Beeeautiful. Bev
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like a for sure winner to me! Gosh this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteTotally and completely GORGEOUS card, Michele! Your textured background is really beautiful, and I love the single snowflake...CAS perfection! Love the font on your red sentiment, too ~ Stunning work, my friend, as always!
ReplyDeleteThud ... dribble! Sound of chin hitting floor and me drooling at the same time, Michele ... not sure I have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to describe how perfect this is, mon amie ... it's BEAUTIFUL (written bigger if I could!). Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome CAS design Michele!!
ReplyDeleteYes, let's think frosting rather than snow...although you're right...we saw plenty of those pretty swirls on our drive (and I'm all good. They can melt now *grin*). Another beauty from a beauty...
