CAS[E] this Sketch #148

We are coming into my favorite card-making season of all ... the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas!  I also have a daughter who was a Winter baby ... today my card is for her.  I LOve Leigh's sketch, but I've taken it in a down-hill direction:

I have been saving a really beautiful tag - I actually cut this one while visiting Tracey McNeely last year!  Okay, I guess hoarding would be the appropriate phrase!  Perhaps I'll get back there one day to get more ... fingers crossed.  Here is what I've saved it for:

PTI Two feet deep stamps and dies,
Cuttlebug Oxford embossing folder,
Clearly Besotted Joy to the World modified bow.

I just love that blanket-like texture that connects the
brrrr-thday greeting?  You say you didn't catch that?  It might have needed a few snowflakes ... next time!

I have news!!!  Welcome our newest design team member--Jen Mitchell!  Jen has such a way with our sketches - we're so excited to have her on board.  Welcome, Jen!
Hope you've been inspired by my take on Leigh's sketch!  See you in the CTS gallery - always a joy!
