The Hop to Stop!!!

Becca Cruger is a phenomenal card-crafter and just happens to be hosting a pretty phenomenal bloghop - it is a Hop to STOP domestic violence. 

So! I am painting my blog PURPLE today to support her, and the cause, because purple is the color of National Domestic Violence Awareness month, and we all have to make a stand - together we will make a difference! 

Read this statistic - it is sobering:

1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence over the course of their lifetimes. 
Let that sink in - 33% of all the women you meet. 
 
And women aren't the only people who are affected! Women, men, transgender - gender doesn't matter. Domestic violence is something that exists regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion, education level, etc.

    Oh how lovely!! I did not make a card for this hop and I wish I could have. Had major surgery on Friday and never got a chance. I love the simplicity of your card and those lovely purple hues. Beautiful design!!

    Simple, stunning, poignant. Your design is the best of CAS! I just adore the perfection of that sentiment for the theme of this hop, too. It was truly thought out and that makes it even more special. Thank you SO much for supporting the Hop to Stop!

    Really stunning CAS design and beautiful color palette, Michele! I love the sentiment, too!

    Interesting how the raindrops could also be perceived as 'tear drops'...especially when it comes to domestic violence. I'm so glad you took part in the hop...thank you for the eye-opening stats!

    I too saw the raindrops as "tears" after reading what this hop is about! Kudos to people who stand up to violence of any kind. A lovely, CAS card with a perfect sentiment, Michele!

    Hello Michele: What a worthy cause, I'm going to make a card for this challenge. Your card is beautiful, I see tear drops on this design, it's indeed sobering to read those horrible statistics, this crime does not discriminate, anybody can be affected.
