We're baaaaaack!!

Lesley [our leader extraordinaire] was kind enough to give us all the Summer off at The Challenge ... but we're back!  I feel ready to go, so let's do this!

It's a sketch:

Here is how I interpreted The Challenge this week:

Recollection's Paper Bag; MFT Roses all Over bg stamp and cardstock;
SSS sentiment tucked inside; and hugs from W&W Big, Bold & Friends cutaways.
Also one of those little embossed edging strips that sometimes come with a set
provided the left edge panel from the sketch.

Whoa!  That is so dramatic, I'd like to lighten things up a bit!  Second helpings from Wplus9:

My first try with this darling Punny Produce stamp set ...
using a little wet puddle distress ink action, with
Orange Marmalade, Pink Raspberry, and Mustard Seed inks,
on one of those darling Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tags - and sequins.

Hope you have had a fabulous Summer, and have something fun still planned for those few days we have left!  Hope to see you in The Challenge gallery by September 13th!

Thanks for spending a few of those hard-earned moments of time with me today!

  24. My dear, sweet, peachy-keen friend *grin* I have NOT forgotten about you; neither am I ignoring you! My days/weeks have become a blur of work, travel, DT tasks, 'trying' to make 60 Halloween tags/cards for Ms T and Mr c's teachers/classmates (and everything needs to be done so far in advance, because I have to personal deliver when I have a chance), feeling disorganized, heading to a two day cycling course that I *have* to take this weekend (with a TEST, yet), etc. etc. Right now, I'm in the land of *dazed and confused*! Anyway, once my head is above water, we MUST chat! Feeling rather lost without you! Best cure: gallery walk! Wahoooooo! In love with both these cards! Classy sophistication it the first with the lovely roses and the swoon-inducing side sentiment. Peachy lusciousness in the second. Those stamp sets are on my wish list (darn exchange rates making me crazy!). Love the wee tag and bow treatment! (Note to self: get a little stapler!). Off I go...tally ho...
    Hugs and love,
    ~c
