It's a sketch:
Here is how I interpreted The Challenge this week:
Recollection's Paper Bag; MFT Roses all Over bg stamp and cardstock;
SSS sentiment tucked inside; and hugs from W&W Big, Bold & Friends cutaways.
Also one of those little embossed edging strips that sometimes come with a set
provided the left edge panel from the sketch.
Whoa! That is so dramatic, I'd like to lighten things up a bit! Second helpings from Wplus9:
My first try with this darling Punny Produce stamp set ...
using a little wet puddle distress ink action, with
Orange Marmalade, Pink Raspberry, and Mustard Seed inks,
on one of those darling Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tags - and sequins.
Hope you have had a fabulous Summer, and have something fun still planned for those few days we have left! Hope to see you in The Challenge gallery by September 13th!
Thanks for spending a few of those hard-earned moments of time with me today!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! Love the basket weave embossing folder - pairs perfectly with the peachy sentiment & image :)
ReplyDeleteLove that you made two cards and that one is a pocket card!! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteTwo really gorgeous cards, Michele! The rose pattern on the first one is so striking and pairs perfectly with your sentiment! I love the dreamy feel of your peach and your lovely ribbon is such a great touch! As always, you really know how to 'work' those fabulous embossing folders...what a great background!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so wonderful. Love that stamp you used on your first card. It's been on my wish list since I first saw it, and you are not helping much :)
ReplyDeleteThese cards are stunningly muted! Simply gorgeous! I'm so happy that the Challenge is back in session!!
ReplyDeleteLove these both! What a fun idea to stamp on a bag and use it as an element on your card!
ReplyDeleteThings are looking real peachy at your blog and I'm loving it and those roses... WOW Michele!
ReplyDeleteAnd you came back with a bang!! Love the "drama" of your first card!! That little bit of embossing is perfect and I love the floral bag. And your second with the summery peach is perfectly delightful!

ReplyDeleteboth are fabulous that sentiment from the peach one stole my heart but the scene stealer for me is the MFT roses simply must have it!!!x
ReplyDeleteIt is always PURE pleasure to spend time at your blog!! These two cards are both outstanding!! The first one is bold, dramatic and stunning!! The second one is lighter, softer but equally as amazing!! You rocked this sketch!!
ReplyDeleteMichele your cards are so gorgeous and so so classy! You are the queen of putting together awesome embossing and patterns and still making what I see as clean designs! How are you?
ReplyDeleteBoth are fabulous! Love the coloring on your sweet peach and adore that rose pattern!
ReplyDeleteSo very well, my friend! So very well. Love them both.
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of texture, Michele ... these are both so deliciously touchable! The first, stylish and chic, the second ... well, just peachy ... and gorgeous!! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that floral background and that you stamped it on the little bag, and the peach looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove them both Michele....but that sweet peach just steals the show in my book!
ReplyDeleteTwo different cards but oh so pretty!! I love that rose background stamp, its gorgeous. And that peach of yours looks good enough to eat. Yum!!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of stamping the bag, Michele, and those roses are indeed dramatic. I'm thinking I need that peach stamp, to go with my pears. I juset wish they had an apple one, too.
ReplyDeleteFabby takes on the challenge Michele. I think that bag stamping is just so eyecatching. Love.
ReplyDeleteSuper cards! Love the pocket card comes out of a mini bag! I'd like to be a fly on your craft room wall for even a day and watch the wheels a turning! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy dear, sweet, peachy-keen friend *grin* I have NOT forgotten about you; neither am I ignoring you! My days/weeks have become a blur of work, travel, DT tasks, 'trying' to make 60 Halloween tags/cards for Ms T and Mr c's teachers/classmates (and everything needs to be done so far in advance, because I have to personal deliver when I have a chance), feeling disorganized, heading to a two day cycling course that I *have* to take this weekend (with a TEST, yet), etc. etc. Right now, I'm in the land of *dazed and confused*! Anyway, once my head is above water, we MUST chat! Feeling rather lost without you! Best cure: gallery walk! Wahoooooo! In love with both these cards! Classy sophistication it the first with the lovely roses and the swoon-inducing side sentiment. Peachy lusciousness in the second. Those stamp sets are on my wish list (darn exchange rates making me crazy!). Love the wee tag and bow treatment! (Note to self: get a little stapler!). Off I go...tally ho...
ReplyDeleteHugs and love,
