It is a friend in Pennsylvania that I had in mind as I created my card for CASology's Week 165: Circles, and the Time Out Challenge, where we're CASEing Tracey McNeely.
Here is Tracey's sweet card to CASE:
[She must know by now that I cannot resist a slip of vellum!]
And here is my version of it, using a sentiment from the Mondo Magnolia set Tracey also used, and my favorite die-cut flowers from SSS Watercolor Friendly Flowers:
Inside sentiment:
"Among my circle of friends, you are the one
that I can always count on for a smile.
I hope today to bring a smile to your face when I say ...
I'm thinking of you."
Brenda L., you are in my thoughts, and indeed my prayers...
Michele
Oh Michele, your beautiful vellum blooms and wonderful words will, I'm sure, bring a smile to Brenda's face ... what a lovely way to tell her you're thinking of her and DH. Always delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAW Michele that is a beautiful card inside and out and will I'm sure be greatly appreciated, and your right about this blogging world it doesn't matter where you are in the world when the hand of friendship is offered ,you just take and are mighty grateful for it....as I am!:-) x
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Michele!! This is so LOVELY!! Your vellum blooms look gorgeous and I NEED that sentiment stamp set now. You are killing me girl!!! You did a FABULOUS job on this card. Stunning design. Oh, and a question-is the inside a sentiment that you typed or stamped? If you stamped it, what company? I don't have a ton for the inside and have been looking for some good stamp companies with longer sentiments.
ReplyDeleteMichele this is beautiful!! Thank you for sharing with us this week at CASology and at Time Out!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words you left on my blog! :) The woodgrain paper I have "save keep" for a while now! I finally decide it's the time to use it. LOL Anyway they are made in Canada by a company called Harmonie, name of design is Le Bois (code PA103). Unfortunately their web page won't load (www.loisirsharmonie.ca). :(
This is so beautiful and delicate, Michele, and the words inside and out, precious...I am sure that it will bring your dear friend comfort. With my non wifi travels, I have missed catching up with you in the blog world, my friend. I hope you too are well. Oh, and as always, thanks for joining us at CASology this week...
