I received a reminder about the Wplus9 Pure Color challenge, and, as I'd just received the latest release of colors with my order, I had no reason not to play along - except I hadn't a clue!
Pure Color challenge #3 calls for text stamping over top of stamped images. I've had a little fun with their Punny Produce: Peaches ... did anyone think I could actually pass that one by? or that I won't go back for Punny Tomatoes? =]
Pure Color die inks: Last Leaf, Hayride, & Pumpkin Spice
And a few perfect words from Spring Post.

Since it's my first time using the Pure Color dye inks, I have to say they are Pure-ly delightful to use!
Thanks, Kara, for inspiring me to push through my fears, once again! The 'third time's a charm' worked in this case!
That's it for me today, my friends! Hope you're having a happy 'hump' day!

You've done it again: showcasing sets I didn't even know existed and 'convincing' me that I 'need' to add to my collection! Your peachy keen card is gorgeous (and yes, I'd like to see a tomatoes and pear version, too, please). Love x love the technique of text over images...and since I don't have anything to replicate this, guess I may 'have' to go shopping. You say the inks are amazing? Hmmm...let's just add those to my list, too!

Well, this is definitely 'peachy keen'!! I've never used their stamp pads and always wondered what they were like, so thanks for sharing your experience. The colours certainly look delicious on your card. Its awesome and makes me want a peach right now. Although my trees are only starting to blossom now, so have to wait till March!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely YUMMY and so pretty!! Those peaches look good enough to eat - but I can't cuz they have all this text all over them!! =] Have a super happy day!!
