A quicky post for Muse 131 - 'cuz I just had to play cards with Just c!!! Here is her feathered beauty:
Without even a feather pillow in the house, I had to make do with a pretty little PTI fave:
I have Autumn in my heart at the moment, c... hope you don't mind my color-adjustment!
Love playing cards with you this week at Muse!!!

Oh, pretty! Love autumn - the colours are the best! But right now, we are still in the height of humid sticky hot summer! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeletegreat design and take on the muse.
ReplyDeleteNow to my eye it looks like fancy feathery fans!and how clever to use this, sometimes in cardmaking we have to think outside the box and this is a brilliant take on Carols card...and as for Autumn, please I'm still waiting for our Summer!xx
ReplyDeleteOh Michele--- what a beautiful card! I LOOOOOOOOVE your triple inked vine/leaves! Great card all around:)
ReplyDeleteTHANKS so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me love <3 You made my day!!! HUGS <3
Ah yes, the crisp cool days of fall. I feel better just looking at this pretty card Michele. We're in for a steamy Labor Day weekend...ugh. So I'll jus think of your card from time to time to take the edge off!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to know what you would have done if you did have a feather pillow in the house? Maybe you shouldn't tell me! Great substitute idea and a fab card Michele!
ReplyDeleteWell who knew plants could look like feathers? You did, of course! Love the ombre gorgeousness going on here!
ReplyDeleteHello Michelle: Your card is beautiful, love the dimension of the snipped out leaves, just lovely with the sequences spread out like that.
ReplyDeleteVery creative and beautiful way to substitute, I had to scramble to look for a feather stamp!! I own just ONE!!! and I quickly made my entry.
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
I love that stamp, too, but don't have it. Every time I see someone use it I think "I'm going to get that!" and never do. I love the one overlaid branch. It gives the card that je ne sais quol.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful take on Carols' Muse card, Michele! I love the gradient of autumn colors, and how you added the die cut...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your take on this!!! I like that you didn't use feathers but used that fabulous stamp set and did a gradient of these instead. Totally amazing!!
ReplyDeleteAMAZIng card Michele...I always love your out of the box thinking and this is just one fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteLove how you can always find something great to substitute if you don't have something used in a challenge. Those leaves are gorgeous! I'm ready for fall so the colors are especially welcome.
ReplyDeleteLove how you colored those leaves--my very favorite all time stamp set. Really.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You hold on to that fall love for a bit longer, I'm not done with summer yet ;)
ReplyDeleteThose leaves are just stunning. Michele!!!! What a lovely take on Carol's inspiration card!!!! I love the yellow dots you've added and the black frames everything perfectly!!! This is so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday afternoon/evening!!!
Hugz
Those gingko leaves are just gorgeous, Michele ... fabulous in their autumn attire of ombré green/brown ... and simply lovely with the gold berries ... delicious! Bon dimanche, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteMICHELE!! What an absolutely gorgeous translation of my feathers! Your gingko leaves, in their fashionable fall colours, are utterly stunning! You've taken the playfulness of mine (well...that's what I was aiming for) and, in your fabulous style, infused sophistication and class into your creation. In love, love, love and love! Thrilled you joined the Muse gallery; doubly thrilled you drew inspiration from me!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
