Here is Chrissy's awesomeness for CAS[E] this Sketch #140:
Here is my card ... simple is sometimes sublime to my eyes. I stumbled upon a package of pre-colored/pre-cut/pre-twined water-color paper tags from Heidi Swapp. I made a tall-skinny card base from water-color cardstock - clipping the top corners to mimic the tag, and voila:
A girl can never go wrong adding a bit of Mama Elephant, and Technique Tuesday!
I adore the combination of rosy mauve and kraft.
Now just when you think I've left something off, like a 'friend' or some relative or other, I've left it for the inside sentiment... see how sneaky I am? Instant multi-tasking card!
I look forward to browsing through the gallery each week... hope to see you there!

Beautiful! Love the colours and paint strokes :)
ReplyDeleteYou are one clever gal!
I love how you created the ombre effect with the brush strokes and how beautifully it works with your Kraft sentiment! Such a pretty card, Michele...Clever how you shaped it to pair with the tag, too!
ReplyDeleteClassy and so pretty!! Love this and you are super smart thinker - love how you left the inside blank til you know who it is for!! So genius!! I just love the soft tones and those pinks are gorgeous!!! Have a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, love the idea of a tag card. The way you used the fun paint strokes on this is genius. I am going to have to create something for this sketch too but never would have thought of your idea. FABULOUS!!
