Our hostess this month is the wonderful Cathy Weber! Cathy's kit is packed full of fun Christmas treats - though, as a Michigan girl where Summer is way too short, it was a bit tough to get into the Christmas mood - so I turned down the temperature on the AC =]
Here is a little peek of all the goodies we had to play with:
This is where my imagination took me for my Christmas in July ... thank you, Cathy, for such a gift-filled kit!
Be sure to visit our 12 Kits of Occasions Blog for all the Christmas treats from Cathy and our team-mates! OH! and an extra gift this month? Lisa Elton of My Paper Tales is our guest - she'll make magic with this kit, for sure!
I truly hope your Summer has been as
magical as any holiday season!
Thanks for spending some time with me today ...
always so appreciated!

Fabulous collection of cards, you are well on your way to stocking up for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteStunning designs, Michele! I always know your cards will be unique and innovative and you didn't disappoint with your makes from this amazing kit! Thank you for all the inspiration!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I love your designs. Each and every one is so beautiful. Looks like it was a fun kit to work with.
ReplyDeleteStunning cards Michele, you are for sure a real designer! :) Love some of the amazing things you did here, one example the straw tree! Gorgeous use of Cathy’s wonderful kit!
ReplyDeleteSweet collection of cards Michele...I love that all but your adorable red mitten is as cute as can be complete with that fabulous tree button, just darling. And you straw tree, AMAZING my dear friend....just amazing. And you used that gorgeous plaid deer and really made him shine, might have to pull my deer out from hiding! Fabulous use of Cathy's wonderful kit.
ReplyDeleteYou've gone 'Christmas mode' with gusto I'd say. Echoing D. & K., you are amazing girl. That leaping stag has captured my eye, as has the sweet polkie dottie cardinal. Great job with this kit, though, your creations always, always amaze me. True story! Bev
ReplyDeleteLove your take on Cathy's kit! You even added stars to my favorite image--the gorgeous plaid deer! Then you got super creative with the straw tree and mitten! Want to guess which one is my favorite though? Bet you knew--the last one with the bird! I just couldn't decide how to use them and your idea with the black behind the red is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow--Michele--this is such an amazing collection of cards with so many fun details. First off, I've been swooning over that giant mitten ever since I peeked at our blog days ago. I would love a glove like that for real, although I'd have to use it as an oven mitt around here. Fun way to use that reindeer paper clip, and the deer looks like he is jumping over the moon ( like his friend the cow, I guess).
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, this kit does not disappoint, and what you have done with it is so joyful! Each card feels like a hug in a warm sweater - perfect for our climate right now, thank you very much! I swooned over all, but wanted to eat your 'iced' gingerbread cookie atop that ingenious straw Christmas tree! You are so clever Miss Michele! Now, somewhere between now and the end of the weekend I need to set aside a couple of hours to swoon over all your colleagues' creations. Always a pleasure!! Thanks for warming my day!
ReplyDeleteFun cards with wonderful textures! Love that plaid deer against the bold red doily, so handsome! Your straw tree...so clever!
ReplyDeleteWOW, you've really made all the great elements in the kit, shine, Michele!!!! What a lovely selection of Christmas cards!!!! All soooo beautiful!!!! Especially like the fun paper clip and the clever tree!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!!
great cards! fun kit!
ReplyDeleteSuch a GORGEOUS collection of cards, Michele! Your details are amazing, and I love how you played with all of the elements in this kit! You've really inspired me today...Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYayy! You used the little paperclip! Love how you turned the straw into a tree, the little stars on the deer antlers, The silhouette of the deer in the moonlight and the bird perched on the garland. Really fun and clever!!
ReplyDeleteStunners, as always, Michele ... it's always a joy to see what you do with all the goodies from the '12 Kits'! My attention was especially grabbed by the straw tree (genius!), the leaping reindeer (so elegant and bold), and that wonderfully cosy warm nordic mitten (ski-ingly snuggly!)! Awesome work, my friend! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words Michele, you made some real magic here yourself!! I love the deer posed behind the doily, such a great design. The tree made from the straw is super creative!! Hanging the ornament from the sentiment strip was a nifty idea and that mitten has me smitten!! Fabulousness my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteWell when you put together an awesome pile of supplies like in this kit together with a crafter extraordinaire like you SUCCESS is guaranteed and you were super successful and I am delighted by your group of cards!! My favorite one is the last one with the polka dot background and that regal bird!! You are simply incredible!! Hope you have a great week!!!
