The Card Concept 36

The Card Concept always has just wonderful inspiration photos... this one is no exception:

Just when you think I might go for those cupcakes ... and oh I would if they were sitting here on my desk ... I've gone totally rogue again ... I know! who has taken over my brain!?

A Clean and Simple, slightly layered, card:

Therese Calvird-esque striped edge!  amy T's milk glass!

The Winnie & Walter's Lola's Bouquet has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks time.  I was so thrilled to win Joni Andaya's gorgeous set as Lola is my Mom's name, and Mom would be so happy to know she has a darling namesake, too - my granddaughter Lola Grace:

Here's Lola feeding a hummingbird!

It is no doubt I am influenced by many of you fabulous designers ... thanks to you all for infiltrating my frontal lobe!

  5. Great card, Michele, and an even greater photo of sweet Lola feeding the hummer through the window!! How cool is that?! I just ordered a hand-held feeder so I could have this experience, only the one I got is teeny-tiny. (So hard to tell size online!) Lola gives me inspiration that I can handle it!! Hugs, Darnell

  13. This is simple and stunning. I love that you did something other than a cupcake. I've been pondering this challenge, and was going to try a different direction as well, if I get to it. And, love your granddaughter's name and that is a beautiful picture of her.
