How fun that it just happens to be for The Challenge! Here is our inspiration this week:
Well, by now you know I do think a wee bit out of the box on occasion... and I think the occasion has arrived!
How was I inspired? By the chalkboard/mirror, the garden, and colors ... however, I do enjoy coffee over tea, and with a good phone chat? it is the best of times! Wait. I don't have YOUR number? Something we should remedy.
Winnie & Walter words are my 'go to' - are they yours, too?
The patterned paper [did you notice it is grass?] is from the SSS June kit, the journaling card is something from my left-over bin... oh, you know you have one, too. Chalkboard paper is a cinch with a powder tool, on black card-stock.
Guess what? I have second helpings... yep, in honor of the 400th! Let's revisit that mirror =]
Still had that little set of vintage images on my desk... this time stamped right onto the journaling card! |
I do want to take a moment to thank you all for stopping in for a visit ... hope you leave with a smile.
Has this made you think outside the box, or will you go right for that gorgeous dresser and tea set? I cannot wait to see! Now run over to The Challenge, please - you aren't going to believe how my teamies were inspired!
=] Michele

I'm so happy I found your blog because it sure brings smiles to this face each time I visit!! Love your phone card, so cool and totally amazing in the black and green color combo, love that little touch of blue too. You second card is just as amazing as I love anything vintage, like your rotary phone on your first card. lol I love how you took the same green grass paper and used it with that beautiful blue color. ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 400th post, I agree the learning curve is real steep and still feels it for me at times, computers and me aren't the best of friends lol. More great inspiration from you and I can't wait to see the next 400!
ReplyDeleteI think you are a blogging natural, Michele :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 400 posts - I know I am inspired everytime I visit!
Yes....it is always time for tea. And your card is just so stinkin' creative. So fun.
ReplyDeleteThese are both just fantastic. Congratulations on your 400th post. That is a wonderful milestone. Deserving of second helpings, of course. I always like to see where you go with photo inspirations. I find them the most difficult of all challenges, and rarely do them, but you make it look so very easy. Here's to 400 more posts.
ReplyDeleteI do love your sense of style and thinking out of the box...these are awesome.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 400th post! I love visiting your blog -- I think you're awesome, Michele!
ReplyDeleteAnd your cards are both lovely, too!
Yay ... congratulations on 400 posts, Michele ... think I've been here for most of them ... and have enjoyed every moment! Here's to the next 400, my friend! Brilliant cards, as ever ... cool, creative and so much fun ... love that T time!! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDelete400 posts: and you've dazzled us with each and every one! Again, two amazing cards (be warned: you'll be reading plenty of repetitive comments in the next while, but you are to blame: all your cards are awesome, gorgeous, stunning, amazing...etc. Oh well: repetition is good, right!). I'll take coffee over tea any day, and pairing it with a phone chat with you? Perfect!
