12 Kits of Occasions : June and Second Helpings!

It's June and that means it's time to go back in for second helpings ... no not the potato salad [though that does sound tempting] second helpings of cards from all the wonderful supplies my 12 Kits teamies have so generously sent for the last four months!  My journey began in February... I remember it so well...

First up: Sharron - and her darling Bye, bye Birdie kit:

Sharron and I have discovered that we have birds, and gardening in common!
I'm saving a few of these darling red birds for Christmas, Sharron =]

Next up:  Marybeth and her fabulous Song of the South kit:

Marybeth I adored all of these gorgeous French Country prints!
Even the 'leftovers' are delicious =]

Tracey provided something in her Tickled Pink kit that I'd never used before:  doilies, and die-cut feathers - you'll understand if a girl just has a little fun, won'tcha? [said in my best Mae West voice-over] justa little dance, huh?

Tracey and I have such a fun friendship - there are few that enjoy my sense of humor as she does =]

For my final card, and using the wonderful goodies from Jeanne's Let's hear it for the Boys! kit:

Jeanne, I am set for embellishments for some time - thank you!  It's not something I buy very often!

Thanks to one and all for the opportunity
to play cards with you, and your wonderful kits!
You have to go see what my teamies have served up for Second Helpings at the 12 Kits of Occasions blog!

  3. Oh wow...you are a whiz with leftovers! I LOVE your card made from Jeanne's kit as my favorite...so cute with the safety pin and buttons dangling from it...great idea! I am also loving the funny and also pretty pink card left over from Tracey's kit...those feathers were one of my favorites from that kit.

  10. Oh Michele! I love that you made a different card from each kit.. and WOW! SO many inspired designs here - and things I need to case. But FIRST!!! That lady in the feathers! How cute and clever is that? Smiling HUGE here! Things I love.. the buttons hanging from the clip on the last one.. and how clean the first with the red bird. Gosh it just jumps off the page.. that red. Your photos are amazing too!

  11. You did some amazing things with those second helpings Michele!! The little red birds are darling and worth saving. Love what you've done with the chalkboard paper from Marybeth. Your fan dancer...what a hoot!!! And finally those dangling wooden buttons on your last card are such a fun accent!

  13. Creativity abounds in that crazy mind of yours, Michele, and I mean that in the best possible way. I'd say Mae West has nothing on your sassy lady. I always love a second helping of leftovers.

  14. Awesome cards, Michele! Love how you created one from each kit and made each extra special with your style and sometimes a little touch of humor! Your red bird just pops in your first gorgeous design and you found a whole new area of creativity using those great papers in Marybeth's kit. The dancer with the feathers is priceless--just SO clever & cute! And I love your last card with the elements hanging from the clip! It has been sooooo wonderful having you as part of our group this year! Have a super vacation!!!
