Today's sketch:
Is it a pure coincidence that my newest purchase from Wplu9 A new Day, was delivered? Me thinks not!
For CTS #120:
I will admit my background isn't as 'washed' as I like it to be - but let's face it... nobody does that as beautifully as Gayatri who created this beautiful sketch.
I created the stencil with a slip of vellum and the MFT Polka Dot Cover-up, and went over it a second time with the MFT Cheesecloth background stamp. Ranger Archival Ink for Mr. Chickadee.
My team-mates always teach me lots about looking at a sketch in the most unique way - as do you! I cannot wait to see how you interpret today's sketch!
As always: thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUSLY done - that stenciled background is so perfect for your bird on the branch image!! Super awesome and just a breath of fresh air - So Spring-y!!!
ReplyDeleteI would say that bird flew in at the perfect time! And a little birdie told me some blooms are about to fly your way, too! ;)

Sigh...I love this Michele. Those pretty little yellow polka dots have me smitten!
ReplyDeleteThere you go, Michele, spring's arrived!! Beautiful ... the collage-y background is perfect behind that sweet little chickadee! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOh my word Michele, this card is gorgeous!! I love how you stenciled two textures in your background, that is just so cool looking!!! I love that new stamp too, how pretty is that little bird and how fabulous is that sentiment?!! Now it is funny that your bird has yellow, this morning I was eating cinnamon toast looking out my back door and saw these beautiful little birds-look just like yours-and they were yellow and black. A vivid yellow! They were the sweetest little birds ever. So this card just makes me smile like those cute birds did. Hugs, Brenda
