I'm the first to admit I'm not great at collage-type cards -ones that include many shapes or embellies... I'm lost with too many options. For me it's like crafting with a mess on the desk - my brain gets just over-loaded!
Sketch challenges do challenge me.. but that is a good thing as often they are composed of layers of elements, shapes, and embellies!!!
Here is the August Reverse Confetti SFYTT #15:
Here is my offering:
Finally found the perfect home for MFT's Fuse Green CS AND
WPLUS9's Borders and Backgrounds.
I adore this flower - Mom called them "Flags" though you'd know it as an Iris. Worth the time taken to fussy-cut but you see I left a square corner as the sketch demands =]
The sentiment- Our time- is continued inside with: TOGETHER is never quite enough.
And, of course, is from Reverse Confetti. I'd love to win because this is my only stamp set from RC and there many, many more I'd adore.
Beautiful card Michele! I love that sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI love love anna griffin too but I do not have many things from her ! at CHA I saw a wonderful new rolling tote bag on her new collection, watch out for it

Oh my, so gorgeous! I love that gold embossing and the dry embossing in the background!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Michele. Love the colors and that main flower image. The gold splashes look great.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, Michele ... such fabulous layers, dimension and texture! Yep, RC stamps are brilliant ... I have plenty on my wish list ... but none in my inky little hands ... yet! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! "Flags" rings a bell for me. Maybe it was my Grandma who called Irises flags? I love how you've used the colours in this card, Michele, really stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautifully layered and colored card!! The fussy-cutting is amazing! Colors are beautiful and just over-all a stunning card!!
