A Second Helping!

Well.  Now that I have the thinking all behind me, this second helping went pretty quickly!
With this one, I did use water-based Distress Inks, using my hounds-tooth background stamp from Hero Arts.  The same birthday die, and that cute little happy stamp and simple flower die from SSS.  I added a little scalloped slip of vellum at the bottom with a few drops of glossy accents... Laura Bassen-esque, oui? =]  I wish my camera skills were better here =/  Here you go TYI! Thanks for all the inspiration from the DT!!

I've forgotten to mention the Paper Smooches scalloped circle die I partial cut to shape the top of each of my tags -  would you believe me if I told you I don't have one tag die?  Go figure!

  6. Awesome tag, Michele! You've nailed Laura's tag in perfect tribute. Great design, and I love your choice of houndstooth. Great tag! BTW...I'll admit this freely, as it's important that it's out there... I'm dyslexic. I examined your 'sympathy' card in detail, and it wasn't until I went back a few minutes ago to look at it again, that I saw that the word was "especially", my brain only saw "sympathy" and not until I read your post again, did my brain finally and actually 'see' the correct word! I so apologize for getting it wrong. It doesn't happen all that often, but it does happen, lol! I hope I didn't embarrass you...It's a beautiful card, nonetheless. Bev
