Hello my friends! I have been 'out of commission' since December 27th and, if I'm honest, I am still far from 100%. It has been such a long time since I've made a card or created a post that I almost forgot everything! But today, instead of laundry, I decided to head to my studio - I have Judy's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and blue skies to thank for that!

Freshly Made Sketches #719
There are a few 'new things' in my stash purchased before Christmas.
Concord & 9th's Just Picked die set came to my rescue today.
I couldn't resist water coloring the sweet, layered Clover blossom in this set -
putting them inside their darling vase was a no-brainer!
While deciding what to use for my card panel I remembered a really
old pack of adhesive backed fabric from DCWV purchased at Michael's
many, many years ago. This natural 'slubbed' linen is so pretty!
I found the 'band' among my snippets - you'll undoubtedly see those
Betterpress-ed sentiments quite often in 2026, too.
Okay, that's about all I have the energy for today except to invite you to the FMS blog to see all the creative ways my teammates have used Judy's sketch!
Thanks to those of you who have sent healing prayers, get-well wishes, and cards!

I'm sorry you are still feeling under the weather, my friend. You haven't lost your creative touch though. This is beautiful! I love the clover and you have colored each layer beautifully and arranged them so thoughtfully in that awesome vase! The texture of the adhesive fabric makes this even more special! XOXO
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Michele! You've been missed. I'm sorry you were out of commission for so long, but I'm happy to know you're on the mend. I've missed you and all your beautiful inspiration! This card is so pretty and I'm loving the clover dies. I think I may have some of that self adhesive fabric stashed away somewhere in my vast hoard of supplies that's never been used. So happy to see you back in blogland. Sending hugs to you my friend.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, and glad you're feeling better, Friend! It's good to see your fresh look on sketches and cards, we all missed your ingenuity. Your card is wonderful, the flower and vase are beautiful. TBH the "fabric" has me intrigued since I don't think I've ever seen it before -- what a find
ReplyDeleteGlad you are on the mend! Your carding skills are intact! Sweet card!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely haven't lost your creative touch while you've been out of commission Michele...this CAS card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! That bloom is so pretty in the colors you used and looks fabulous in the vase and against that cool fabric background! Lovely, lovely card my friend and SO glad to see you back in blogland!! Take care of yourself and finish healing!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty, dear one. Sorry to hear you've been down - sending good vibes your way. Always appreciate your inspiration (even tho I have a fear of doing florals, so I avoid them!).
ReplyDeleteOh how I've missed you and your marvelous makes! Hoping and praying the healing continues, my friend. So good to see this little lovely pop up from you today. Loving the sweet clover you created and the linen makes a warm and cozy background for them!
ReplyDeleteYay! She's baaaaaaack! I'm sure I'm not the only one who suffered from "Michele withdrawals"! It's so good to see your gorgeous card (how did I miss that C&9 blossom?) and well done on using that DCWV fabric paper--it's a gem! Continue to rest and take care so you can crank out your cards again! Hugs!!
