The Paper Players team honored me with a 'Cut Above' award for my little tag card last week - thanks, team! What better way to say thank you than with another card? Ann has a fun Sketch for #713 and I knew just the set I wanted to play with again - it was 'singing my song' so to speak.
First off, here is Ann's sketch:
After looking at the wonderful cards the team has made, I'm quite
certain there should have been TWO panels on the card front. Well,
by now you know I often forget these details - oy.
I found a way to 'indicate' them with embossed lines - two directions.
See if you can spot them...
PB's Sing Joy was the main ingredient I mentioned - a very sweet friend sent me
the coordinating dies for my birthday - aren't I the luckiest? Among them were those cute little musical notes! The treble clef and journal card are from another gift and the 'sheet music' I stamped on the panel is PB's Music Background.
The sentiment is one of those I'd Betterpress-ed.
Thank you, Ann, for starting my week off on the sweetest notes!

She certainly is making spirits bright, Michele! I love the texture and music in the background! Awesome musical die cuts that work perfectly with this little caroler! I wonder what she's singing today!
Michele... what an amazing layout! So love it and all the elements. You eye is amazing. Thanks for popping into The Paper Players!
Well you know how I feel about that little caroler (you'll see more of her from me later this week) and she looks fabulous in all her Christmas finery and against that wonderful embossed white background! I love the addition of the music notes too! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! Hugs and Happy Monday!! :0)
I do see the embossed lines going both ways, and I love the treble clef which, knowing your clever creativity, I thought served as that second panel. The singing elf is adorable and the card is the perfect setting for her! ps: My outbox is filling up and simply won't send.
I pulled that set out to remind me to make a card or two. You've displayed her well with the music notes and all that texture, Michele. Thanks for the inspiration.
Michele, I LOVE your interpretation of my sketch at The Paper Players this week. The embossed lines so perfectly indicate the two "panels". This is such an adorable little elf. The music notes and treble clef compliment her so well. I am so glad you played along with us!
Fantastic take on the sketch and I love seeing that little caroler, singing her heart out!
Stinkin' sweet card, Michele! And I can see you -- er HER -- singing with all her joy. BTW in my book, the different angles of the embossing make two panels, right?
Congratulations on the shout out and for creating another absolutely delightful card. Golly, it hits every note spot on!
You know how much I love the way your eyeballs translate sketches. This is fantastic. I love those little carolers so much. This one is super cute. Love the tab that extends the sheet music and the vertical embossed lines together!
Joy is definitely making spirits bright. Love your card. Yes, you are very blessed to have friends that send crafting goodies and you put them to great use.
What better way indeed? Especially when it's another totally wonderful creation! I love those vertical scores representing the left panel. The rounded corner is a sweet touch but it's that musical cluster that is just heavenly! Thanks for joining in with us again at The Paper Players.
There's that little cutie again! Love the way you've used her today with the addition of the sheet music and big ol' notes. Darling card, Michele!
