Spellbinders' way to paint a sunny day!

It's been the gloomiest, grayest of all weeks.  As much as I love the color gray, I draw the line there.  I was so happy to receive two darling little die sets from Spellbinders* - they quickly made my days sunnier!

Artful Tulip - Pinkfresh braided tag, and stitched rectangles
Copics for 'paint' on the bristles

Butterfly Burst is a beautiful way to paint the sky!
This time, I used patterned paper from Honey Bee for my 'garden' and brush bristles, and butterflies!

Pinkfresh Mini slimline bundle and classic edgers as supporting characters

That's it for my week!  Tom and I are having our first-since-Covid movie night - AT OUR THEATER!!  I'm not gonna lie - I'm hoping it's empty!  lol

Thanks for dropping by - happy weekend-eve!

* Norine made me do it!

  5. What fun dies and the most glorious cards, both of them. Love the way you popped in the flowers on the first and the happy colours x. Great paper and butterflies on the second and a thoughtful sentiment x. I am with you about an empty theatre as we've stayed close to home for so long Michele x. Have fun and enjoy! x.

  8. It must have been Norine's I saw but I'm not sure. I just know I saw those paintbrushes somewhere. You saw and then bought, Michele, and after that turned them into the most fabulous cards. Both are so creative but the tulip one blew me away.

  12. And Michele made ME do it. Saw these yesterday and had to have them. I love the first especially. That Pinkfresh die is the perfect stage for these wonderful brushes. I do love the butterflies as well. Love the colors. Hope you are having a great day. xx

  13. Michele I love how you added your creative spin on these paintbrushes! What movie did you go to seeÉ I hope the theatre was empty too. We did our first dinner out, since Covid, a couple of weeks ago! It`s scary getting out there again. xo

  16. A bit late to the party on this one. I went to see my daughter at the weekend and help one of my granddaughters celebrate her 7th birthday. It is wonderful to use cards to bring brightness and cheer when waiting for that elusive spring weather. Looks like we have had ours, cold and grey again today xx
