I adore wainscoting ... there isn't anything I don't love about our inspiration for IB144 beauty fall... see if you agree:
Lovely, right? Of course my heart went right for those sweet little pumpkins, but my supplies had to go with the wire wreaths! I did manage a bit of pink...
I even managed to sneak in a black scripted sentiment seen on one of the pillows! The 'wainscot' was turned on its side and now appears as an embossed panel with vertical planking!
I so love it when a design comes together so sweetly ... hope you're inspired to play along with IB144! I just know you have a few design secrets to share!

This is gorgeous! Love the pale colors and the pop from the sentiment.

ReplyDeleteI love wainscoting, too...and I think your card is absolutely GORGEOUS, my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great take on the Inspired By inspo! It has a real "Magnolia" feel to it and the horizontal texture reminds me of Chip and Joanna's favorite shiplap wall treatment! This is really a gorgeous card and came together as if it took no effort at all...the mark of a well-designed card!
ReplyDeleteRachelle : )

ReplyDeleteThis is swoon-worthy. LOVE this color combo, and the way you pieced this together and embellished it. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a fantastic interpretation of the IB photo, Michele! I was looking at the photo for a while before looking at your card. And it was difficult for me to decide what to focus and at the same time incorporate the elements in the picture. So it was a wow moment when I saw your card, especially the pale pink flower.
ReplyDeleteI also googled "wainscoting" and I thought it was like dry embossing on walls and you took it horizontally. The black wreath and sentiment is a wonderful accent too. (and on and on and on...) :-)
Hideko xx
