The cupcake base is a BasicGrey Bitsy Cake stamp that I white embossed. I stamped three of each size of these darling roses onto watercolor cardstock with Versamark + a little Studio G yellow pigment ink, clear embossed them, and colored them with Tombow water-based brush pens + water, easily fussy-cut them with my new Fiskars spring-loaded scissors! I water-washed the background with a bit of Black Soot distress ink. With a few non-edible DCWV pearls for accents, wouldn't this make a perfect wedding card?

Squeal!!! This is the prettiest little cupcake, oh my goodness Michele! Love this card...winner winner!
Fantastic take on the photo--those frosting roses are so adorable!
Wow Michele, this cupcake is amazing! First off it looks so 3D to me, I swear I could reach in and peel that wrapper right off. lol I love the roses on top, so elegant and the addition of the pearls is just perfect. I think the wash in the back is what is popping the cupcake forward and I love it. Hugs, Brenda
OMG, Brilliant! You've combined two of my favourite things in the world - cupcakes & flowers. Yum!
This is brilliant and genius and such a cool looking card - love the yellow and the gray!!
So delicious Michele ... fabulous rose frosting, brilliant 3d effect and such a wonderful colour combo (that you know I've just adopted!!) Hugs, Anita :)
Only someone with the skills of a baker could think to make this extraordinary card....ah-mazing!!! I love that its the star of the card (as it should be) and the watercolouring is divine. This just has to win the Fusion challenge or I will eat my mini-blending tool!!
Absolutely lovely and totally unique. I love this beauty!
Simply scrumptious Michele! A marvelous way to stretch your stamps (seriously, 'rose' icing is beyond brilliant), create dimension, and combine colours. You work magic with yellows and greys! Wedding card: yes, yes and YES!
Hugs~c
Love the watercoloring with white embossing powder ... such a cool effect ... so very glad you joined us at Fusion Card Challenge.
I remember making frosting roses. These look every bit as good with far less calories. It's such a creative idea, Michele, to use them for your cupcake topper.

Ahhhh... I see now... just had to dig a little deeper! Wonderful! The cake part looks so real, and the flowers are so clever!
