CASology: Week 131: Birthday!! and Inkspirational Challenge #75

May I just say that, even though it is still in Winter, I think February birthday cards are the most wonderful to make!  Who isn't thinking of hearts, flowers, and love in February?

When I saw this week cue word "Friend" at CASology this week, I had a very sweet and special friend in mind:


The cover panel was created with Paper Smooches stamp sentiments, stamped with a VERY new and juicy Versamark, then embossed in white.  A fun little rolled rose found inside my little to-use-later box kept close by on my desk.

Inkspirational Challenge #75 is calling for ROSE - just discovered!  Pleased to submit this little number there as well!

    Oh, this is a beautiful card Michele!! I love the white embossing on the white card base, so pretty. And I love the scallop and heart top as well as the lolli rose. My granddaughter will be one year old on Feb. 14th, how's that for a special birthday?!! lol And hubby and I were married on the 13th! Feb. is indeed a special month! Hugs, Brenda
