It has seemed so bizarre that the most treasured grocery item, besides yeast, these days has been toilet paper … seems my design brain is obsessed by the phenomenon, too!
This guy just seemed the perfect guest to bring to the party at Sugar Pea's May 2020 Mix it Up Challenge #67:
My own inside sentiment:
"Oh, go ahead - squeeze the Charmin, too!"*

Of course I remember Mr. Whipple and all those wonderful commercials!! Gosh, does that make me old too??!! Cute, CUTE card Michele and LOVE your inside sentiment! (we definitely need our sense of humor these days, don't we?!!) Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteLOL...cute card, timely too. And what is it with the TP? I just don't get it.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I remember Mr. Whipple, he was kind of annoying to me LOL!! But your cute bear, he's a keeper! Darling (and clever) card Michele!
ReplyDeleteYou picked the perfect shade of blue for your Charmin bear! I'm pretty sure the panic is over--at least I hope so! In Hawaii, it was rice. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh..so darn cute and clever, Michele. I love your choice of watercolors for your bear, flowers and fun sentiments and perfect for the times..inside sentiment. TFS your fun card and for the chuckle:-) Stay safe and Creative, my friend. Hugs..Nancy

ReplyDeleteMr. Bear looks awesome in blue, Michele! Glad he's got some tp to squeeze, LOL! A super fun card that reminds me that I have some bears stamped and colored that need a home.
ReplyDeleteGood old Mr. Whipple... I love this blue bear. That is one great color combo... and there goes that brain of yours again... brilliant sentiment.
ReplyDeleteMr Whipple! Yup, remember him well. And this bear looks like those bears in the current commercials. I don't like them as well. Their fascination is kind of creepy to me. LOL But your card...it's fabulous! Love the brilliant blue and the happy yellow lemon. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove this blue bear - he looks like he's ready to take on the day! This is making me thirsty for homemade lemonade! : )
ReplyDeleteYou are so hilarious, as is this card, especially with the inside sentiment. You're so right. Grocery items that have yet to be replenished, boggle my mind, too.
ReplyDeleteWell I just want to squeeze that sweet bear that shows up now and then on your cards! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute!! I LOVE that you colored in that bear BLUE!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally remember the Mr. Whipple commercials and Charmin Mega rolls are my fav. (My stash is dwindling...). Super cute!
ReplyDeleteThere he is! The blue bear I saw at Insta, how fabulous Michele!
ReplyDeleteI remember Mr. Whipple :) I love your watercolored bear and fabulous design on this super CUTE card, Michele! Love your inside sentiment, too...unfortunately, we ran out of Charmin a few weeks ago and we're down to the generic industrial brand at this point...will this pandemic ever end?!!!
ReplyDeleteA blue bear, Michele ... adorable ... and positively squeezable ... what a cutie! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Loving those colours and the sentiment - even if I don't know who Mr Whipple is... An American thing?
ReplyDeleteLove the shade of blue and this cute bear, Michele! I got Charmin bear, but I didn't know about the Mr. Whipple commercials, so I googled him. "Don't squeeze the Charmin!" ;-) Hideko xx
