CAS Watercolour & CAS Stencil

I was more than happy to hear about the newest CAS Challenge … this time they are stretching my stash by using [or making] stencils!

I sure hope the CAS girls won't mind if I combine the Stencil Challenge with CAS Watercolour this month...

I botched my bokeh the other day but decided it could NOT be wasted!   I thought a few snowflake shaped bokeh dots would be cute... not so much!  So, while that slow-drying pigment ink was still sticky, I added a bit of sparkle to them by way of glitter embossing powder... here's how my sponging over a water-colored background turned into a pretty winter wonder... at least I hope the girls will think so!  I even made my own stencil!!!

Thanks for stopping by... it always makes me...

Beautiful cad. Reinforces the rule-never throw out a disappointment. It can often be repurposed into a wonderful card.

Gorgeous card Michele! LOVE the softness of your watercoloured background. Your DIY snowflake stencil worked perfectly! Love the dimension and sparkle of your embossed snowflakes. The die-cut sentiment is the perfect finish to this lovely card. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour and CAS Stencil! xx

You turned tragedy into triumph, Michele. Maybe your card was meant to be this way in the first place.
